Leaks about upcoming Samsung flagship are flying thick, and a lot about the device has been revealed. The device will feature virtual navigation buttons, and this will be a welcome change from the usual design which the South Korean electronics giant had been annoyingly sticking.

If leaks are accurate, the Galaxy 8 and Galaxy 8 Plus will feature curved displays and virtual navigation buttons. It will be a wait for a month when Samsung will unveil its next flagship at the at Samsung's Unpacked event in New York City on March 29Th, 2017 at 11 am EST.

Bezel-less and proper home button

The S8 it seems will boast a 5.7-inch display, and its more endowed version will feature a 6.2-inch screen. The device will run on either Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 depending upon the region. The device is a bezel-less and curved display which does not add to any improvement in functionality and of course, finally a proper home button placement.

The default icon has been reversed and is now akin to other Android devices like Nexus or Pixel. It is also possible that Samsung will offer the user the choice to alternate between the standard Android configuration or Samsung Android settings. Additional features could include water and dust resistance, as well as a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and more.

Significant presence at MWC 2017

Samsung will not be the first OEM to offer an interface option to users, and we have seen something like this in the LG devices in the past.

Samsung is planning bigger things with the Mobile World Congress 2017. Already teaser images of the forthcoming Galaxy S8 have been released.

Meanwhile, it has introduced two new members of its Galaxy range – Galaxy Tab S3 with a 10.6-inch screen and a Galaxy Book detachable tablet with a 12-inch screen. The exact date when these devices will hit the shelves has not been revealed by the company.

After all the leaked images and videos that cropped up on the Internet, it will be interesting to see how many leaked features the device will have after the release.
