The South Korean tech giant, LG has just unveiled their power packed LG X Power 2. According to LG, the latest smartphone contains a whopping 4500 mAh battery that can last 2 full days without recharging. The smartphone also comes with ultra fast charging that can charge the battery more than 50% within 1 hour of connecting to power.
Official unveiling at next week’s Mobile World Congress
In the next week’s Mobile World Congress being held in Barcelona, Spain, LG will officially unveil X Power 2. The X Power 2 comes with a sleek and slim look, 5.5 inch HD cell-in-touch display.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHZ octa-core processor. It also includes 1.5/2 GB RAM and 16GB storage space that can be expanded up to 2TB and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
With front and rear cameras, taking pics is easy with the LG X Power 2
The X Power 2 supports a 5 MP front camera that is good enough to take high quality selfies. The front camera supports a wide-angled lens that can be used to take group photos without using a selfie stick. What’s more, LG X Power 2 includes auto shot, gesture interval shots and gesture shots. It also supports quick share. The X Power 2 will have a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash.
Comfort view feature
The comfort view feature decreases the amount of blue light emissions during display thereby reducing eye fatigue and sleeplessness at night.
This feature, along with the large 5.5 inch screen helps in comfortable reading of ebooks and other content.
Supports 15 hours of continuous video playback
According to LG officials, X Power 2 promises an entire weekend of use from a single charge, due to its powerful 4500 mAh battery. Once the smartphone is fully charged, it can playback videos continuously for 15 hours, provide users with navigational support while driving for close to 14 hours, and support surfing of the internet for close to 18 hours without facing any charging problems.
This phone is targeting multimedia fans and gamers.
The device dimensions are 154.7 x 78.1 x 8.4 mm and will weigh around 164 grams. The LG X Power 2 supports 2G, 3G, LE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and UBS 2.0. It will also support USB OTG.
First release in Latin America
According to the official statement given by LG officials, the power packed smartphone will be first launched in Latin America during March 2017.
After that, it will be available in other parts of the world including the USA and Asia. The latest announcement has created a lot of interest among smartphone users and all eyes are now on the Mobile World Congress where LG will officially unveil the LG X Power 2 and the new flagship LG G6.
