WWE is a place where some wrestlers get to the top very easily while others have to stand in the line for a long time. They have to get their patience tested but when the push finally comes, it feels like a long-awaited gift worth waiting for.
This year is expected to be a lucky year for wrestlers like Finn Balor, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, Lars Sullivan, Bray Wyatt and female wrestlers like Nikki Cross and Lacey Evans.
Male wrestlers expecting a push
Finn Balor, who is currently an Intercontinental Champion is now in Smackdown Live and is expected to get to the top very soon.
He defeated Bobby Lashley to win the Intercontinental Championship. Balor is now on a role in Smackdown Live with the Intercontinental Championship on his shoulders.
Drew McIntyre who has returned to WWE after his short run in Impact Wrestling as Drew has proven his capabilities in the wrestling ring. He returned to WWE NXT and then made his way to WWE Raw alongside Dolph Ziggler as his partner.
Very soon he separated himself from Dolph Ziggler and went on to become a singles wrestler and he recently faced "The Big Dog" Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 35. Though he lost the match, he definitely pushed Roman to his limits. Looking to his regular appearance, he is expected to win a singles championship very soon.
Baron Corbin is very regular on WWE Raw these days. The constable gimmick of Baron Corbin as a heel has been successful. He defeated the Hall of Famer Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania 35. Wrestling Observer Radio more recently noted he has defeated wrestlers like Seth Rollins and Ricochet in the past two weeks on Monday Night Raw.
Lars Sullivan is a giant wrestler who has finally made his way to the main roster from NXT. He was scheduled for this for a long time. He has attacked some big wrestlers like Kurt Angle, The Hardy Boyz, and R-Truth to make an impact. He is set to start a feud with a wrestler at any point in time now.
Bray Wyatt who is one of the creepiest wrestlers of the WWE has been off-screen from a long time until recently when he returned with a new gimmick of Firefly Funhouse.
Forbes notes that this Firefly Funhouse is loved by the WWE Universe and they are waiting for Bray Wyatt to make an in-ring comeback and wrestle with his new demented gimmick.
Female wrestlers expecting push
Female wrestlers like Nikki Cross and Lacey Evans are also expected to make it big and the hints are quite clear as Lacey Evans' very first feud in the main roster is with Becky Lynch who is the champion right now. Nikki Cross is set to get a character change as she claimed in her latest interview at backstage. She has also entered Women Money in the Bank ladder match. Let's hope WWE gets a makeover when these superstars become the top players.
