The Nebraska football team is making its final push as we get closer and closer to the early signing period. That final push has included attempting to lock up some of the better players left on anyone's board. Earlier this weekend it was revealed that Lloyd Summerall had named the Cornhuskers among his final three schools. The Huskers are also hosting an offensive lineman they are now going toe-to-toe against Clemson for. All that work has the Cornhuskers trending, according to recruiting experts for two more 4-star prospects that would be massive additions for the 2019 recruiting class.

Noa Pola-Gates and Ty Robinson have both recently been predicted to end up in Lincoln. For one of those players, that would be a rather massive upset.

Noa Pola-Gates being pulled away from Alabama?

Of the two prospects that have been predicted to end up with the Nebraska football team, Gates would be quite the upset. That's because the safety has long thought to be an Alabama lean. The majority of recruiting experts still believe that the defender is going to the Alabama Crimson Tide. He could still very well end up signing there on December 19, or even in February if he really is as torn as some think.

The good news for Husker fans is that there really does appear to be at least a special place in the 4-star prospect's heart for the Huskers.

Last Saturday, Mike Schaefer, who is one of the leading recruiting experts for the Huskers on 247Sports predicted he was headed to Nebraska. That's important if only because Schaefer is a perfect 19 for 19 this recruiting cycle when it comes to crystal balls. A few days ago, Shannon Terry, the CEO of 247 Sports predicted the Cornhuskers as well.

Ty Robinson looks signed, sealed and delivered for Nebraska football

While Gates is still considered a lean to Alabama by the majority of experts, Ty Robinson is considered a heavy lean to Lincoln. At the moment he's an 83 percent lock to the Huskers with USC being a contender but a distant second. In the last few weeks, no less than eight different recruiting experts have said Robinson would be playing in Memorial Stadium next year.

The most recent prediction for Robinson came from Kevin Ryan, who is 247Sports national recruiting manager. He predicted the Nebraska football team would win out just a couple of days ago. Considering the Spun is reporting that both prospects recently got visits from the entire staff. It appears Scott Frost and company are pushing the right buttons just days ahead of the early signing period.
