With the Nebraska football team swinging its attention fully towards recruiting, there have been a few surprises here and there. One of those surprises is that the Huskers are still going hard after all-purpose back Wandale Robinson. Another of those surprises is that the Huskers are apparently going hard after a wide receiver who has already committed to a Big 12 power. Winston Wright Jr is slated to be going to West Virginia. Before he signs on the dotted line, Scott Frost and the rest of the Cornhusker staff are hoping to turn the tables a little bit.

Nebraska has made visited with Wright and it appears he's very much listening.

Nebraska football has a new visitor on the agenda

Winston Wright's family hosted Scott Frost on Wednesday and it appears everything went so well, they want to see what, specifically Lincoln has to offer. The downside to an official visit this time of year is that Wright and his family aren't going to be able to see Memorial stadium in all its glory. There won't be the roar of the crowd and there won't be the rumble of the stadium when everyone gets on their feet at the same time.

The Nebraska football team will still be able to show the wide receiver recruit a stadium that is even bigger and better than most locations in the country.

They will be able to show Wright the facilities that are among the best in the country. They will also be able to show Wright that there are plenty of top-ranked prospects that are going to be visiting as well. There are few things that stand out to recruits better than when they can talk about the program they are visiting with their peers.

For that reason, West Virginia should be a bit worried Winston Wright is paying a visit on what is the best and biggest recruiting weekends since the regular season ended.

Winston Wright is under the radar but highly sought after

Since the season has ended, the Husker coaches have left no stone unturned when it comes to improving the roster.

That's despite the fact that the recruiting class is almost full. When it comes to talking about turning over every stone, it really didn't take that much to find Wright. The wide receiver might be just a 3-star prospect but several powerhouse programs are coming after him. The receiver has 23 offers total. Illinois and Iowa State are some of the bigger names alongside the Mountaineers that are going after him. The good news is that the in-home visit and the official visit to Nebraska football seems to mean that Winston Wright could be moving schools.
