The NFL Power Rankings for Week 3 have arrived and ladies and gentleman, the pigskin world belongs to the Los Angeles Rams. After another bizarre week of games, which saw another contest end in a tie for the second consecutive week, the Rams are far and wide the best team in the NFL at this point of the 2018 season.

Goff, Rams off to a super start

It seems like yesterday that Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks were dominating the NFC West - and all of football for that matter.

Now a different divisional foe is poised to take over. Since Jared Goff has become the starting quarterback, the Rams have become a force in the NFC.

Goff, along with running back Todd Gurley and star wideouts Cooper Kupp and Brandin Cooks have made Los Angeles one of the top teams in the game today. They also have Los Angeles in a very familiar and exciting place, that is if you know your Rams history.

CBS Sports indicates that the Rams dominated the Arizona Cardinals 34-0 on Sunday afternoon, helping them to move to 2-0 in the season. The win marks the first time that the Rams have won its first two games since 2001, the year they went to the Super Bowl for the third time in franchise history.

Yes, there is a lot of football left to be played, but these Rams are young and hungry and it shouldn’t surprise anyone if they enter the playoffs as the No. 1 or No. 2 seed in the NFC.

Bucs rising fast

Okay, stop it right now. No, you didn’t see Jacksonville, Kansas City or Tampa Bay, especially Tampa Bay, starting the season 2-0. The Bucs have jumped all the way up to claim the No. 2 spot in this week’s power rankings, and they deserve it!

Tampa Bay beat New Orleans on the road in Week 1 then came home and defeated the reigning Super Bowl champion, Philadelphia Eagles. And oh, by the way, it is veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick putting up incredible numbers against opposing defense, not Jameis Winston.

If Tampa starts 3-0, the big question will be there in Week 4. Do the Bucs start Winston in Week 4, the week he is eligible to return following his three-game suspension? It is hard to fool with great chemistry, and right now, the Buccaneers have it.

Below is a look at my NFL Power Rankings for Week 3.
