Women's division stars Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax may have "real-life heat" between them, according to sources. The duo arrived around the same time to the main roster from NXT and they were considered to be great friends. They've become involved in a series of storylines and title matches, with the two trading the WWE "Raw" Women's Championship back and forth recently. Now it appears, based on WWE rumors, that the strong bond they have may have had in the past has ended.
Social media beef between Bliss, Jax
It's unclear if this is the main reason, but apparently, Nia Jax has felt heat with WWE management after she made a tweet regarding Alexa Bliss' "I Am Enough" tattoo.
Bliss' tattoo had significance as her reminder that she'd overcome a fierce battle with anorexia. To this date, that tweet (below) is still live on Nia's Twitter page.
For someone that doesn’t care what anyone thinks it’s weird they have to go out and get a tattoo that says they’re enough 🤔

Apparently, right before Nia's tweet, both she and Alexa had unfollowed one another on Twitter. There was also a negative comment that a fan made toward Alexa on Instagram, which Nia Jax liked. Some people believed this was all work to help build up a storyline. However, it seems that's not the case.
For a while, WWE was using promotional videos and Alexa Bliss was cutting promos where she was calling Nia Jax a "bully." That's what may have made some fans believe this was a work, but it looks like its real life.
Meltzer confirms real-life heat
Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer recently indicated that "Nia has real-life heat. So this is not a work." He also added that it "has nothing to do with 'Total Divas.'" Sometimes, it seems there are stories scripted for the reality television show which carry over into WWE's storylines.
As Meltzer confirmed, that isn't what's going on here.
However, Meltzer also infamously reported that WWE personalities Booker T and Corey Graves, part of the WWE "Raw" commentary team had heat. It turned out that wasn't the case as those two were just trolling online. Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax officially joined the "Total Divas" cast for Season 7 and have been featured in 12 episodes so far.
It's entirely possible that all of this will be on display for the cameras on the next season of the reality show scheduled for fall 2018.
Upcoming PPV match
The two former friends have been involved in several championship matches and more recently, in Alexa's Money in the Bank briefcase cash in. Jax was about to lose her match at the "Money in the Bank 2018" PPV to Ronda Rousey when Bliss snuck into the ring to smash her briefcase on Rousey. After taking out Ronda, she also hit Nia before cashing in and hitting a Twisted Bliss on her to regain the "Raw" women's title.
Now the two women's superstars are set to meet up in a title rematch at "Extreme Rules 2018." Their match is scheduled for Sunday, July 15 in Chicago, Illinois.
It's expected that Bliss will retain her championship belt and it will lead to Ronda Rousey vs. Alexa Bliss for the title at WWE's "SummerSlam 2018."
Here's to hoping that Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax can somehow rekindle their friendship, because they were definitely great to watch in their Instagram or other social media videos together. In addition, one has to hope this won't negatively impact Nia Jax as her presence in the women's division as a dominant competitor and role model seems necessary. In other WWE news, Sami Zayn is out for the year.
