Sunday brings the WWE's latest pay-per-view, "Backlash 2018," and fans are already on the lookout for results spoilers. The latest edition of WWE's PPV for May 6 will feature numerous titles on the line and matches that feature competitors from "Raw" and "SmackDown." That's because this will be part of WWE's new initiative where each event will feature both brands on the card.

With that in mind, here's a look at some WWE "Backlash 2018" predictions for Sunday's winners and losers.

Non-title match odds

While nothing is set in stone, sometimes the latest WWE betting odds for the matches can tell the story. The 5Dimes online sportsbook has published their latest edition of who the favorites and underdogs are. As of this report, most of the predicted outcomes don't seem to present many possibilities for any major surprises or championship changes. In a match that came about recently, the "Greatest Royal Rumble" winner Braun Strowman is set to team up with Bobby Lashley. While Lashley is no Nicholas, he'll still give Braun a formidable tag team partner.

They'll take on the heel duo of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn who recently joined the "Raw" roster. Strowman and Lashley are currently -475 favorites to win, while their opponents are +325 underdogs.

In another match with no championship up for grabs, Daniel Bryan will get his first one-on-one match at a pay-per-view in some time. He'll take on "SmackDown" star Big Cass in a David vs. Goliath type fight. Fans already know Bryan is capable of slaying giants, and the oddsmakers agree. Bryan is a -300 favorite to win compared to Cass as a +220 underdog.

The last of the matches involving no titles, but that could potentially lead to a top contender spot, features WWE "Raw" star Roman Reigns vs. "SmackDown Live" star Samoa Joe.

Reigns is currently tied with another superstar on the odds as the biggest favorite for Sunday. He's currently priced at -900 to win his bout against the "Samoan Bulldozer" who is +500.

Championship match odds

That brings us to the championship matches for Sunday. Fans were hoping for at least a few titles to change hands at the "Greatest Royal Rumble" in Saudi Arabia and basically saw none of that. It's looking like Sunday's WWE "Backlash" PPV could be similar with one exception. More on that in a moment.

For the WWE Intercontinental Championship match, Seth Rollins is a large -870 favorite to hold onto his title while The Miz is a +490 underdog. With Miz now part of "SmackDown Live" it would be a surprise if the championship moved over there with the United States Championship.

Jeff Hardy will defend that against "The Viper" Randy Orton, but as of this report, there are no odds for the match.

In the women's title matches, Nia Jax is the other top favorite on the card right now. She holds -900 odds to defeat former friend Alexa Bliss (+500). However, it's in the WWE "SmackDown" Women's title bout we see a possibility for a title to change. Right now, both Carmella and Charlotte have -120 odds. Will The Queen regain the title here, or simply pick up a "win" due to a count out or disqualification?

Sunday's main championship match will have AJ Styles putting the WWE Championship on the line again versus Shinsuke Nakamura. The odds are also close here as "The King of Strong Style" is just a +140 underdog compared to Styles as a -180 favorite.

Will all that crotch uppercutting and heel shenanigans finally pay off with a title win, or is Nakamura headed to a different title picture? Sunday should be interesting as far as that particular match goes.
