With Thanksgiving in the rear view mirror, Donald Trump is getting ready to get back to work as Commander In Chief. While this might be the case, Trump has still managed to take time playing golf and vent his anger on social media.
Trump on Twitter
For over two and a half years, Donald Trump has made a habit out of lashing out on Twitter for a variety of reasons. It all started during the early days of his campaign after clashing with the majority of the mainstream media.
It became commonplace for the former host of "The Apprentice" to tweet out attacks on reporters, Democrats, celebrity critics, and even members of his own Republican Party. Since defeating Hillary Clinton last November, the commander in chief has only increased his social media attacks, despite First Lady Melania Trump ironically vowing to help end cyberbullying. Over the last two months, Trump has often shifted his attention to the sports world, taking multiple shots at the NFL for allowing its players to protest during the national anthem, while also targeting the NBA in the form of feuds with Stephen Curry and LaVar Ball.
In the back-drop of his presidency, Trump has also caught heat for spending many weekends playing golf at his private resorts, which took place again following his Thanksgiving stop in Florida. As seen on his Twitter account on November 24, the president wasn't shy abut gloating about his tee time.
Taking to Twitter on Friday morning, Donald Trump didn't hold back his thoughts about the world of sports. "Can you believe that the disrespect for our Country, our Flag, our Anthem continues without penalty to the players," Trump tweeted out. "The Commissioner has lost control of the hemorrhaging league," he continued, before adding, "Players are the boss!" Trump's remarks came as he re-tweeted an article from Breitbart that highlighted the struggles in the NFL as the league faces backlash and a decline in ratings, which has only increased since players have amped up the protests during the playing of the national anthem.

In a follow-up tweet, Donald Trump informed his over 43 million followers that he was getting ready to play some golf with Tiger Woods before getting back to work. "After Turkey call I will be heading over to Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter, to play golf (quickly) with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson," the president wrote. "Then back to Mar-a-Lago for talks on bringing even more jobs and companies back to the USA!" Trump concluded.
According to TrumpGolfCount.com, Donald Trump has played golf 75 times since becoming president last January, spending a total of 795 hours on the green. Despite the negative attention, it doesn't look like Trump will be slowing down his golf habits anytime soon.
