Many NFL players are dealing with injuries six weeks in the NFL season. With some injuries impacting teams more than others, many teams are getting the news of how long their players could be out. Many teams are holding there breath as they await the news of their player's injuries. Aaron Rodgers is the biggest name on the injury report, as he was injured in Sunday's game against the Vikings. Many other NFL stars are dealing with injuries after week six, but who could possibly miss some time?

Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone to his throwing shoulder after being tackled by Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr on Sunday's game.

Rodgers wasn't too fond of the hit, sharing words with Barr as he left the field. It was projected that he could miss the remainder of the season and that might come closer to a reality after Monday. Rodgers is planning to have surgery on the collarbone, which would require extensive rehab. Mike McCarthy gave the news at his press conference saying the surgery will happen "in the near future."

Rodgers' importance to the Packers is huge. He has helped keep their Packers relevant despite having a poor defense the past couple years McCarthy isn't worried about three-year backup Brett Hundley taking the starting role telling reporters,"I've got three years invested in Brett Hundley, two years invested in Joe Callahan.

The quarterback room is exactly where it needs to be, OK?"

Leonard Fournette

Rookie star Leonard Fournette suffered a sprained ankle in Sunday's game against the Rams. It looked much more concerning on the field, as it looked like his knee buckled on the play. He was planning to return to the game but didn't and sat out the remainder of the game.

He has played a big role for the Jaguars, showing that beast mentality he was known for at LSU. The Jags will know the severity of the ankle sprain after further testing.

Jameis Winston

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Jamies Winston suffered a sprained AC joint in their game against the Cardinals after being tackled by Chandler Jones.

He didn't return to the game and had x-rays done on his shoulder to reveal the sprain. He could play through an AC joint sprain, and it seems like that is what he wants to do, despite the injury being to his throwing shoulder. Head coach Dirk Koetter labels Winston day-to-day.

Trevor Siemian and Emmanuel Sanders

Two Broncos were injured in their Sunday night loss to the Giants. QB Trevor Siemian was hurt after attempting to chase down CB Janoris Jenkins on an interception. He was taken back to the locker room immediately after, and he eventually returned to the field in the second half. Even though he finished the game, Siemian will get x-rays to see if there is any damage to his shoulder. Receiver Emmanuel Sanders suffered an ankle injury in the game as well and didn't return to the game.

Head Coach Vance Joseph indicated that he suffered a sprained ankle and will miss their week seven game against the Chargers.

The NFL has dealt with many injuries to star players and this week isn't any different. WIth another star in Aaron Rodgers being sidelined, the NFL is losing its faces of the league week by week. Hopefully, all the players can return to the field to full health soon.
