The match featured the first game of the newly formed big three of the Oklahoma City Thunder composed of Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Carmelo Anthony. It was also the NBA debut of Lakers' Lonzo Ball who was the second overall pick of this year's NBA draft and the first game of the Clippers without Chris Paul.

Chicago Bulls vs. Toronto Raptors

The Chicago Bulls lost to the Toronto Raptors 117-100. The Bulls was led by center Robin Lopez who had 18 points, eight rebounds, and two assists. Guard Justin Holiday also scored 15 points in four out of 12 three-point shooting while adding four rebounds, and two assists while forward Lauri Markkanen tallied 17 points, eight rebounds, and one block

Center Jonas Valanciunas had a double-double to lead the Raptors with 23 points in out of 17 shooting and 15 rebounds. Guard Kyle Lowry contributed 12 points, nine assists, and four rebounds while C.J. Miles had 22 points in six out of nine three-point shooting and five rebounds.

New York Knicks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the New York Knicks by a score of 105-84. Thunder's big three was led by Russell Westbrook who recorded his first triple-double of the season after breaking the triple-double record in the past NBA season.

Westbrook had 21 points while shooting seven out of ten at the free-throw line, 16 assists, and ten rebounds.

Paul George scored 28 points in six out of 13 three-point shooting and six rebounds while Carmelo Anthony had 22 points, two steals, and two blocks. Center Steven Adams also contributed 12 points, five rebounds, five steals, and three blocks.

Kristaps Porzingis of the New York Knicks scored 31 points in 11 out of 25 shooting while grabbing 12 rebounds.

Enes Kanter had ten points, seven rebounds, one assist, and three steals while Kyle O'Quinn produced six points, ten rebounds, and two assists.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Los Angeles Lakers

Blake Griffin's 29 points and 12 rebounds were more than enough to help the LA Clippers defeat the LA Lakers 108-92. DeAndre Jordan also contributed 14 points, 24 rebounds, and one assist while Danilo Gallinari had 11 points, five rebounds, and three assists.

Center Brook Lopez led the way for the Lakers with 20 points and six rebounds. Larry Nance Jr. recorded 14 points and 12 rebounds while Jordan Clarkson tallied 18 points, two rebounds, and two assists.
