With the NBA season starting in less than ten days away, the NBA preseason is a great look into what to expect this coming NBA season. On October 8, 2017, fifteen NBA teams and the Melbourne United hit the hard court to get more practice time before opening night.

Golden State Warriors' All-Star point guard and former Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry dropped 40 points in three quarters in a blowout win against the Minnesota Timberwolves in China.

This coming NBA season will be interesting because many teams have improved their lineup to try to challenge the Golden State Warriors for the NBA championship.

Golden State Warriors vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

The Golden State Warriors destroyed the Minnesota Timberwolves 142-110. Warriors' Stephen Curry exploded with 40 points in six out of nine shooting beyond the arc, Curry also led in rebounds and assists with six and eight respectively.

The Timberwolves were led in scoring by Andrew Wiggins with 21 points, while Jimmy Butler had five rebounds and six assists.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Washington Wizards

The Cleveland Cavaliers have still yet to win this NBA preseason as they lost to the Washington Wizards 102-94. The Cavaliers' Jeff Green scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead all players, while teammate Kay Felder dished out 11 assists.

Melbourne United vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Melbourne United in a close match by a score of 86-85. Thunder All-Star forward Paul George led in scoring with 22 points; Russell Westbrook had seven assists, while Steven Adams and United's Casey Prather both had ten rebounds.

Casper Ware led Melbourne United with 20 points while making six out of 19 field goal attempts.

Portland Trail Blazers vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Damian Lillard's 35 points were more than enough for the Portland Trail Blazers as they annihilated the Los Angeles Clippers 134-106. He also made all of his 13 free throw attempts. Portland's Evan Turner led all players with eight assists, while the Clippers' DeAndre Jordan grabbed 14 rebounds.

Denver Nuggets vs. San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Denver Nuggets 122-100. The Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge led all scorers with 21 points and dished out six assists, while teammate Matt Costello had 12 rebounds.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Chicago Bulls

Anthony Davis scored 37 points and made 22 out of his 23 free throw attempts as he led the New Orleans Pelicans to a win against the Chicago Bulls 108-95.

Davis also led all players in rebounds with 15, while teammate DeMarcus Cousins had nine assists.

New York Knicks vs. Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets remain undefeated after their win against the New York Knicks with a score of 117-83. The Knicks' Willy Hernangomez had 17 points and 12 rebounds, while the Nets' D'Angelo Russell led all players with seven assists.

Sacramento Kings vs. Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers were able to come out with the win against the Sacramento Kings 75-69. The Lakers' Julius Randle scored 17 points and grabbed ten rebounds, while teammate Alex Caruso dished out four assists.
