Clavell is looking solid this preseason, if he continues to play well, he will surely get some playing time this upcoming NBA season.

Dwight Powell impresses with seven points

Dwight Powell looked amazing on Thursday against the Atlanta Hawks. He contributed 11 points, four rebounds, and four assists in 20 minutes. He shot 57.1 percent from the field and 50 percent from the free throw line. The Dallas Mavericks did not make any substantial changes to their lineup.

In order for the Mavericks to return to the playoffs this upcoming season Harrison Barnes, Seth Curry, Wesley Matthews, and Yogi Ferrel have to be on top of their games. The Dallas Mavericks are set to face the Sacramento Kings this October 21. Getting a win in their NBA opening game would be a great way to start their season.
