The latest episode of WWE "Raw" on Monday, September 25th, 2017 took place in Ontario, California. The show arrived just one night after the big "No Mercy" PPV which saw Roman Reigns defeat John Cena and Brock Lesnar defended his title against Braun Strowman. The opening segment for "Raw" featured MizTV with The Miz interviewing Roman Reigns. He talked about Reigns winning several big matches but also having trouble against Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, and Brock Lesnar. Reigns tried to challenge Miz to a fight right there but Miz said he wasn't dressed for it and had a pregnant wife to get home to.

He tried to leave with Miztourage but "Raw" GM Kurt Angle came out. He booked Miz vs. Reigns for later, and Miztourage vs. Matt Hardy and Jason Jordan.

Match results

Jason Jordan and Matt Hardy defeated Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas via pinfall. The match went over 10 minutes and ended when Jordan hit a suplex on Axel and then Matt hit Twist of Fate on Bo Dallas for the win.

Elias defeated Apollo Crews via pinfall. This rematch from "No Mercy" went 2:35 in length and featured Elias kicking Crews in the face before hitting Drift Away for the pinfall.

They had a backstage interview with Finn Balor. When asked what was next, Balor said he wants to reclaim the WWE Universal Championship that he previously had to give up.

Curt Hawkins was in the ring and questioned when his 118 match losing streak might end. Braun Strowman's music hit. Hawkins tried to flee, but Strowman chased him into the crowd. He caught him and slammed Hawkins through a table. He brought him up on stage and then slammed Hawkins through one of the set screens. Strowman went back to the ring as referees checked Hawkins.

Braun said he wasn't leaving until someone came out to give him a real fight.

Braun Strowman defeated Dean Ambrose via pinfall. Ambrose came to the ring to answer Strowman's challenge, but had a bandaged shoulder after last night's tag team match at "No Mercy." The match went over six minutes. Towards the finish Ambrose tried for a suicide dive but Strowman caught him.

Ambrose hit a DDT on the floor. When they got back into the ring. Ambrose went for a top rope elbow but Strowman caught him again and hit a big powerslam for the win.

They had a segment where Alexa Bliss came to the ring to reprimand the fans for all the gossip and rumors going on about the future of the women's division. Bliss said she cleaned out the women's division at "No Mercy" but the fans are gossiping online. Mickie James came to the ring and forced Bliss to repeat what she said about her last night on "Raw Talk." Bliss called Mickie an old lady causing James to slap her twice and kick Alexa to ringside.

Seth Rollins defeated Sheamus via pinfall. The match went just over four minutes.

Towards the close, Sheamus set up for a Brogue Kick but Rollins ducked the move. Sheamus tried for another move off the ropes but Rollins hit a Superkick then delivered his high knee finisher for the pinfall.

They had a backstage segment with Goldust and Finn Balor. Goldust seemed upset that Finn felt the need to come to his defense and said he could do it by himself. Balor apologized and Goldust offered a fist bump. It seemed like things were good but then Goldust punched Balor down and beat him up some more. He knelt over Balor and delivered a line about "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."

Roman Reigns defeated The Miz via pinfall in a non-title match. In a match that went just under nine minutes, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel were ringside.

They tried to help with Dallas hitting a cheap shot on Reigns at one point. Later, Reigns made a comeback and hit a Superman Punch on Miz, Axel, and Dallas. Miz went to the outside and Reigns delivered a Drive By on him. Back in the ring, Miz hit a DDT for a near fall. Moments later, Reigns hit a big spear to get the pinfall win.

Post-match, Axel and Dallas teamed up on Reigns. He fought them off and tried for a move on Miz, but Dallas had a chair and hit Reigns. The heels worked him over before Miz hit Skullcrushing Finale on Reigns.

Finn Balor defeated Goldust via pinfall. At one point before a commercial break, Goldust picked up Finn and dropped him on the crowd barricade. Later, Balor got the win in a bit over seven minutes after hitting Coup de Grace for the win. Post-match, there was a Bray Wyatt video interruption with a child singing "He's got the whole world in his hands."

Bayley and Sasha Banks defeated Nia Jax and Emma via pinfall. Towards the end of the match, Nia Jax got run into the ring post just like at "No Mercy" last night. Bayley made a tag and grabbed Emma to hit the Bayley to Belly finisher.

Main event?

Instead of a main event match, WWE "Raw" featured Enzo Amore's WWE Cruiserweight Championship celebration as the final segment. Earlier in the night, Enzo had requested that "Raw" General Manager Kurt Angle allow him to have a celebration. Angle had seemed reluctant based on how Enzo won last night but finally gave in.

In the closing segment, Enzo boasted of winning the Cruiserweight title last night. He talked of being a major star and how fans were being haters chanting "You can't wrestle." He said they did the same to greats like Cena and The Rock too. At one point, the "205 Live" theme music played and out came most of the members of the roster on stage minus Neville. Enzo began to insult each of them one by one.

Neville came out with an angry look at his face and headed to the ring.

Enzo talked about how they're now in the main event segment because of him, but they were never near this spot when Neville was champ. Neville told Enzo he's a cancer to all of those who come in contact with him. He said he was there to end Enzo. However, Enzo showed him some paperwork he had signed by Kurt Angle which said if Neville touches him, he'll never get a title shot.

Ultimately Neville delivered a spin kick on Enzo and tossed him out of the ring.

He ran Enzo into the barricade. Enzo tried to get away by backing up the ramp. The other "205 Live" superstars brought him back to the ring. Neville grabbed the paperwork Enzo had and shoved it in his mouth before kicking him in the face. He hit a Red Arrow on Enzo and his theme music hit as WWE "Raw" went off television for the night.
