Derek Carr led the Oakland Raiders to a win against the Titans in his first game back after the injury. Carr, who broke his leg last year in a match against the Colts, had a solid game on Sunday throwing for 262 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. Marshawn Lynch made his debut in the Raiders' jersey and rushed for 76 yards on 18 carries while catching one pass for 16 yards.

It was Beast Mode's first game back after he came back from the retirement this offseason and signed with his home team. Michael Crabtree put up a good performance in the season opener, catching 6 passes for 83 yards. For the Titans, Marcus Mariota made a comeback after breaking his leg last year in a match against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He threw 256 yards and a touchdown without an interception, while also rushing for 26 yards and a TD. The Titans' running back DeMarco Murray rushed for 44 yards on 12 carries, while Delanie Walker caught 7 passes for 76 yards.

Raiders end the first half with a 13-10 lead

Tennessee Titans started the match with an onside kick attempting to surprise the Raiders, but they failed and the Raiders started their first drive from the 50-yard line. After only 4 plays the Raiders scored their first TD with an 8 yard TD pass from Derek Carr to Amari Cooper. Cooper fought of Titans' defenders and got to the end zone. In their first drive, the Titans scored as well. Marcus Mariota rushed for a TD from the 10-yard line to make it 7-7 at the end of the first quarter. At the start of the second quarter, the Raiders made a field goal to take a 10-7 lead. The Titans tied the score after making the field goal with 43 seconds left to play in the second quarter.

But, it was enough time for Oakland's team to make another field goal and make the score 13-10 at the end of the first half.

Titans fail to score a TD in the second half

All we saw in the third quarter were two field goals, one from the each team. Both teams played very poorly on offense failing to score a TD. In the fourth quarter, the Raiders scored a TD after 3 minutes long drive. Seth Roberts caught a 19 yard TD pass from Derek Carr to make the score 23-13 for the Raiders. Ryan Succop made a 52-yard field goal for the Titans, but it was all they could do in the fourth quarter. Raiders made another field goal to make the score 26-16 and with it, the match ended. This wasn't a great performance from the Raiders, but they managed to win an away match and show that they are playoff contenders.

Titans visit division rivals the Jags, Raiders host the Jets in week 2

In week 2 of the 2017 NFL season, the Oakland Raiders will host the New York Jets. The Jets lost their week 1 against the division rivals Buffalo Bills and are eager to win a match against the Raiders. The Raiders are huge favorites against the Jets and anything other than a Raiders' win would be a huge surprise. Tennessee Titans will play an away game against the division rivals Jacksonville Jaguars in week 2. The Jaguars won their week 1 matchup against another division rivals the Houston Texans. Week 2 matchup between the Jags and the Titans is important for both teams, that are looking to win the AFC North.
