The NBA offseason has ended as training camps are beginning today. A few days ago we heard that Carmelo Anthony got traded to Oklahoma. But just a few hours ago it was reported by The Vertical that Dwyane Wade will now reunite with LeBron James in Cleveland. The NBA has been busy lately with all the players changing teams and expressing discontent to their current teams. Marc Gasol, on the other hand, expressed just how happy he still is with the Memphis Grizzlies.

After 10 years Gasol still happy in Memphis

Marc Gasol will be entering his 10th season in the NBA for the Memphis Grizzlies.

For the past 10 years, the Grizzlies have made the playoffs six times. Despite not winning any championships it seems like Marc Gasol is fairly happy with his career with the Memphis Grizzlies. It was reported by Commercial Appeal that during media day yesterday, Gasol was asked if he is still happy in Memphis, he answered that he is very fortunate to play and represent the city he loves. He has been with Memphis for about ten years now and he still is very happy. Gasol, later on, added that he spoke regularly with Robert Pera regarding team and player concerns.

Gasol entered the NBA when he was drafted with the 48th pick by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2007 NBA draft. He was directly traded to the Memphis Grizzlies as part of the package that sent Pau Gasol to the Los Angeles Lakers.

In his nine years in the NBA, he has been named an All-Star three times and was named NBA Defensive Player of the Year in 2013. Marc Gasol has career averages of 14.9 points, 1.5 blocks, 0.9 steals, 3.2 assists, and 7.6 rebounds per game. Over that time, Gasol has shot 49.6 percent from the field, 34.7 percent from the three-point line, and 77.2 percent from the charity stripe.

Wade and LeBron reunite in Cleveland

Shams Charania of The Vertical has reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers and Dwyane Wade have reached an agreement on a one-year, $2.3 million dollar deal. The last time Wade and LeBron played together they won two NBA championships in the 2011-12 and 2012-13 NBA seasons. The Cleveland Cavaliers will now have a projected starting line-up of Tristan Thompson, LeBron James, Kevin Love, Dwyane Wade, and Isaiah Thomas.

That will then give them a bench unit that will include Derrick Rose, Iman Shumpert, JR Smith, and Jae Crowder. With this move, the Cleveland Cavaliers are still the favorites in the East despite the newly formed Boston Celtics Superteam this offseason.
