There has been a lot of speculation about Dwyane Wade and his potential destination in case he reaches a buyout with the Chicago Bulls. Wade is expected to reach the buyout soon, and if he does so, he will become a free agent and will be able to sign with any team he wants.
Beside his former team, Miami Heat, Dwyane Wade has been also linked to the Los Angeles Lakers and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
While it's hard to see him going to Los Angeles, there is a good chance that the shooting guard goes back to his first professional NBA team.
However, the Cavaliers shouldn't be counted out. Wade's best friend, LeBron James, is looking for more help. Recently, these two friends worked out together in Los Angeles, which could be a good sign for the Cavaliers fans.
Wade and LeBron work out together
New NBA season starts in just a little over a month and players are starting to work out and prepare for it. James and Wade, who are both entering their 15th season in the league, met and worked out together in Los Angeles.
The two of them were teammates in Miami for four years and they are familiar with each other's routines. After all, working out with a friend is much more fun than doing it alone.
While this could just be a normal workout between two friends, it could also mean that Dwyane Wade and LeBron James are intending to team up once again. This time, however, it wouldn't be South Beach where they'd join their forces. While going back to Miami is one of the options for Wade, the Heat certainly couldn't afford both James and him. Wade would, however, join the Cleveland Cavaliers, and team up with his former teammate.
The Cavaliers certainly need more help when it comes to winning a championship, and there is no doubt that Wade's experience would be an important factor.
Even though he will play in what could possibly be his last season in the NBA, Wade is still a star and could be the second-best player in Cleveland.
Wade's options
Wade is a great player and many teams would be interested in him if he becomes a free agent. However, there are only two options for him, realistically. At the end of the day, it all comes down to whether he will go back to the Miami Heat or join LeBron in Cleveland.
The shooting guard joined the Chicago Bulls because he wanted to play for his hometown team. Now, he would either go back to Miami to finish his career where he started it, or he would join the Cavaliers to pursue another championship ring.
