NBA Training camps are about to begin in a couple of weeks and teams are scrambling to finalize their 15 man roster for next season. The offseason has been full of blockbuster announcements with Kyrie Irving, Isaiah Thomas, Brook Lopez, D'Angelo Russell, Jae Crowder, Gordon Hayward, Paul George, Paul Milsap, Danilo Gallinari, and Chris Paul. Next season we will also see new in-game rules to improve game flow and a new player friendly schedule to minimize resting of players.

Memphis will continue to build around Conley
The Memphis Grizzlies has done lots of changes this offseason and seems like its time to say goodbye to the grit and grind game play of Memphis as Zach Randolph and Vince Carter depart to Sacramento. Moving forward the Memphis is still very relevant in the NBA but they have to make a couple of more moves to even contend with the likes of San Antonio, Houston, and Golden State. Matt Moore of CBS Sports has reported that the Grizzlies are not listening to any trade talks that involve either Mike Conley or Marc Gasol.
Mike Conley entered the NBA in 2007 when he was selected by the Memphis Grizzlies with the fourth overall pick, just behind Greg Oden, Kevin Durant, and Al Horford. Conley is not your flashy point guard but he is consistent and one of the best two-way point guard in the league this offseason just behind John Wall. Conley has played 10 seasons in the NBA all with the Memphis Grizzlies, last season was one of his best seasons as he averaged a career high in points, field goal percentage, rebounds, and three point shooting percentage. Last season he averaged 20.5 points, 0.3 blocks, 1.3 steals, 6.3 assists, and 3.5 rebounds while shooting 45.9 percent from the field, 40.7 percent from beyond the arc, and 85.9 percent from the charity stripe.
Can Parker flourish in New York?
Ian Begley of NBA ESPN has reported that Jabari Parker's name was mentioned in the trade talks between the New York Knicks and Houston Rockets for Carmelo Anthony. This deal could possibly make Jabari go to New York, Carmelo to Houston and Milwaukee to receive other assets and the huge Ryan Anderson contract. Parker has truly shown how good he can be in the NBA if he is healthy. He has shined in certain moments but would be quickly shut down with injuries, in his short NBA career he has already suffered two ACL injuries. If Parker shall land in New York this offseason he can be the second go to guy behind Kristaps Porzingis but he still has to work more on being healthy.
