As the WWE "SummerSlam 2017" pay-per-view is just about two weeks away, there are multiple championships on the line at the event. Among them will be Brock Lesnar's Wwe Universal Championship. "The Beast" will defend his title in a Fatal 4-Way match featuring some of his toughest competitors ever. They'll include "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe, the monstrous Braun Strowman, and the leader of the "Roman Empire," Roman Reigns. Will one of these three opponents be able to leave with the Universal title when "SummerSlam 2017" has ended?

Match build up

Brock Lesnar won the WWE Universal Championship back in April during the "WrestleMania 33" pay-per-view. Lesnar was able to finally conquer the man he hadn't been able to defeat before, Bill Goldberg, to win the title. He's held the title ever since, having defended it at a few house shows and at the WWE "Great Balls of Fire" pay-per-view. At that event, he defeated Samoa Joe who seemed to pose a legitimate threat.

WWE "Raw" General Manager Kurt Angle tried to find a new opponent to face Brock at "SummerSlam, " but his attempt to get a No. 1 contender didn't work out as planned. A match involving Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe was interrupted as Braun Strowman made his arrival to the ring and destroyed both superstars.

Ultimately, they led Angle to book all three to face Brock Lesnar at "SummerSlam" in a Fatal 4-Way match.

Who will win the match?

The WWE is constantly changing up their plans based on which superstars are doing well, or seem ready for a push. They also change plans based on contracts coming to an end or wrestlers announcing they will be leaving.

It's being rumored that Brock will leave WWE once "WrestleMania 34" has come and gone. It was teased on the most recent WWE "Raw" that Brock and his advisor Paul Heyman will both leave if Brock loses at "SummerSlam."

The latest WWE match betting odds could give the story for what will happen. As of this report, Paddy Power lists the odds for all four of the competitors in the big Universal Championship match.

As of this report, the current champion Brock Lesnar has 13 to 8 odds to retain his title. Samoa Joe has 7 to 4 odds, while Braun Strowman has 7 to 1 odds. That makes Joe and Strowman the underdogs for this match as of right now.

Currently, Roman Reigns has the top odds to win, right now. Reigns is listed at 6 to 4 overall which could indicate he will leave the Barclays Center as the brand new champion. That makes Reigns the new favorite to win as Lesnar had been leading the odds previously.

That could make things interesting as there had been WWE rumors indicating that Reigns would take on Lesnar for the title at "WrestleMania 34." However, the fact that John Cena is a "free agent" now and could join "Raw" puts him in play as a challenger for either Lesnar or Reigns at a future PPV event.

WWE fans, do you think Roman Reigns will become new Universal Champion at "SummerSlam 2017" PPV? Who should win the match?
