In Week 1, the New York Giants fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers 20-12.

Eli Manning and the rest of the major players didn't participate in the game. Backup QB Geno Smith went 10-for-16 with his passing and had 114 yards with an interception. The rookie quarterback had an impressive debut throwing 11-of-18 passes for 184 yards and a touchdown. That TD pass came late in the game to help grab the victory for the Browns. Cleveland also had rushing touchdowns from Terrence Magee and Matthew Dayes to aid in the 20-14 win over the New Orleans Saints.
