Anthony Davis of the new orleans Pelicans denied rumors; he is being traded to the Boston Celtics. In an interview, the Pelicans star said, he gets a lot of question regarding the Boston Celtics trade and assured everyone that he is not going anywhere other than New Orleans. Saying it over and over, he loves being a Pelican and he is genuinely happy with the team. Apparently, his desire to remain with the team gets stronger over the years and his five years of being with the team can prove that.

During an interview with Davis, while hosting his basketball camp for kids, he shut down the trade rumors saying, "I understand it's business, but if I don't hear anything from Dell or my agent, I don't pay attention to it." But his agent's lack of enthusiasm on the rumor made Davis forget about it and begin to concentrate on other things.

"I am happy here as a Pelican; I am happy here," he added.

Anthony Davis in the past NBA season

Anthony Davis also said that the Pelicans training camp has been very exciting especially now that he is being accompanied by several other stars mainly Rajon Rondo, Jrue Holiday, and DeMarcus Cousins. He also expressed his confidence that the Pelicans lineup is strong to take on any NBA team this coming season.

Meanwhile, the New Orleans Pelicans, last season made a blockbuster trade when the franchise acquired DeMarcus Cousins on February this year. When the NBA season starts in November, Anthony Davis will be able to play with Cousins for the first time in a full season. After concluding last season with a 34-48 record, the franchise needs to create something that will help Anthony Davis bring the team to the playoffs.
