On Sunday night, five of the WWE "Raw" brand's top Superstars did battle inside and outside the ring in a Fatal 5-Way match. It was the WWE "Extreme Rules" 2017 pay-per-view from Baltimore, Maryland, with a shot at Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal title, the prize for a win.

Competing in the big main event match were Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, and samoa joe. Which of these top "Raw' competitors walked away with the big win on Sunday night? Here's a look at how it went down.

Fatal 5-Way highlights

During the first part of the match, it seemed that the two heels had aligned with each other to work as a duo.

Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe destroyed each of their opponents. That included using steel steps outside the ring to knock down Roman Reigns, much to the delight of some cheering fans.

However, the two "teammates" seemed to come unglued at one point in the ring and went at it. Finn Balor came in to take both men down with a steel chair.

During the match, there was plenty of action outside the ring. Samoa Joe had locked a Coquina Clutch on "The Demon" Finn Balor. However, Roman Reigns was able to hit a huge tackle to take both men through the timekeeper's barrier, crashing into a heap of bodies and materials.

Seth Rollins saw it all from inside the ring and also saw Bray Wyatt laying on an announcers table. That prompted Rollins to hit a Five Star Frog Splash off the corner, crashing through Wyatt on the table.

Basically, all five of the superstars put in a lot of effort throughout the match.

Each of them hit big moves at various spots. Rollins had several near falls on his former Shield partner Roman Reigns, but couldn't put him away for the win. Reigns went on a rampage at one point, hitting the Superman Punch on a competitor and a Spear on another. There was also Bray Wyatt with several Sister Abigail attempts.

The big winner

In the grand finale, WWE fans were treated to a frantic finish involving all five of the superstars hitting big moves. Roman Reigns eventually cleared the ring with his various trademark moves, but Finn Balor was still in with him. Balor managed to get the Slingblade clothesline on Reigns, and then dropkicked him into a ring corner. Moments later, Balor hit his finisher, Coup de Grace.

While the Demon had what looked like a winning pinfall, the savvy Samoa Joe slipped into the ring. Joe was able to grab Balor from behind and lock the Coquina Clutch on him. With Reigns down and out, Balor was unable to escape the hold. He'd eventually pass out from being choked out. As the ref raised Balor's arm and dropped it to the mat, it signified that Samoa Joe was the winner.

That means Joe will head to the WWE "Great Balls of Fire" event in five weeks from now to face "The Beast" Brock Lesnar.

The two will battle it out over the WWE Universal Championship in a dream match for the ages. Which of these superstars will capture the big win? Also, will Brock show up soon on "Raw" or will Paul Heyman be there to speak on behalf of his client?
