Sunday night's WWE "Extreme Rules" 2017 pay-per-view features plenty of exciting matches that have fans trying to predict the outcomes. Among these will be a Kendo Stick on a Pole match for the women's title and a Steel Cage match for the WWE "Raw" Tag Team titles. One title that isn't on the line will be the WWE Universal Championship. However, fans will find out who will be the new No. 1 contender for Brock Lesnar's title once the event has ended on Sunday evening.

Fatal 5-Way buildup

With big man Braun Strowman going down with an injury that required considerable time off, it left WWE "Raw" General Manager Kurt Angle in a conundrum.

Angle decided the best way to decide who should face Brock Lesnar for the Universal title next, was to have five of the best superstars on the "Raw" roster compete for the opportunity.

The match will feature former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor, along with former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt. Two other former champions, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will also be involved. Samoa Joe will be the fifth competitor, and is a former NXT Champion but has yet to capture gold on the WWE's main roster.

All five superstars have impressive resumes and they've all been competing over the past several weeks on "Monday Night Raw." Each superstar has gained an impressive victory, whether in tag team action or on their own.

Among the most recent superstars gaining wins were Samoa Joe in a Triple Threat match against Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt, and Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins in a main event battle. These two matches took place just this past week, so it could lead to some major momentum for the two winners.

Who will win?

Plenty of fans would love to see Finn Balor or Samoa Joe get their first-ever chance at taking down "The Beast." However, the WWE rumors and spoilers circulating the internet seem to indicate that it may not be either of these two wrestling talents.

So that leaves Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns.

WWE rumors have suggested for a while now that Reigns and Lesnar will lock up again over the title. However, that match may not take place until WWE's "WrestleMania 33" pay-per-view. So will it be Seth Rollins or Bray Wyatt?

The latest betting odds are several sports books, including Paddy Power, have Seth Rollins as the favorite. Rollins is slightly ahead of Samoa Joe on the odds, so keep an eye on the possibility that one of these two superstars gets the win tonight.
