On Tuesday night, the NBA Draft Lottery 2017 was shown where professional basketball teams learned their draft order. A total of 14 teams are part of the lottery for the first round of June's NBA Draft, and only one could get the first overall selection. However, the latest draft class is promising so there's the possibility of more than a few future talents within the group. Here are the most recent Draft Lottery results as far as what spot each team will be making their draft choice in.

Team selection order

As mentioned, 14 basketball teams learned exactly what their NBA Draft position would be next month.

The draft lottery determined only the top three picks. After that, it picks No. 4 through No. 14 were put in reverse order of their NBA regular season records.

Among the three teams that were vying to get the top overall pick, or at the very least, a top three pick, were the Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, and Los Angeles Lakers. Of those teams, the Celtics were already playoff contenders, while the other two are trying to be.

The No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick for 2017 will go to the Boston Celtics. The Los Angeles Lakers own the second pick, and the third overall pick belongs to the Philadelphia 76ers. These three teams will be mulling over prospects including Lonzo Ball, Markelle Fultz, and Josh Jackson.

The Sacramento Kings will draft the fifth overall pick. The Orlando Magic have the No. 6 pick, and the Minnesota Timberwolves have the No. 7 pick. For the No. 8 pick, the New York Knicks will get to select a college prospect. Ninth overall in the order will be the Dallas Mavericks.

The Sacramento Kings also have the No. 10 pick.

The Charlotte Hornets have the No. 11 pick. The Detroit Pistons received the No. 12 pick while the Denver Nuggets got the No. 13 pick. The Miami Heat received the No. 14 overall pick to finish out this June's top 14 team order.
