On Monday Night's episode of "Raw," the big WWE superstar shake-up officially began. Before "Raw" even went on the air, one move was announced as "SmackDown Live" star Apollo Crews joined the red brand. Later on, when the television show arrived, several other big stars joined "Raw" much to the surprise of fans worldwide. At least one of the moves even impacted a match on the "Payback" card for a few weeks from now.

Superstar shake-up news

Throughout the night, various superstars from "SmackDown Live" announced they were now on the "Raw" roster.

Three big stars were announced right away. As The Miz and Maryse came to the ring to mock John Cena and Nikki Bella, WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose came to the ring to interrupt, eventually hitting Miz with a Dirty Deeds.

Curt Hawkins arrived out to the ring to tell people about "the facts" of him now being a part of the red brand. However, he got a big welcome from The Big Show who simply came to the ring and knocked him down with the KO punch.

Even more stars were announced for the roster. Kalisto, Heath Slater, and Rhyno were all announced as new members of "Raw." Several members of the "SmackDown" women's roster also showed up. First, it was former champion Alexa Bliss coming to interrupt Bayley and Sasha Banks.

Then it was Mickie James also announcing she's now on "Raw."

Superstar Finn Balor was in action and won his match against Jinder Mahal. After his win, Bray Wyatt appeared on the big screen to let everyone know he's part of "Raw" now too.

He also announced that his House of Horrors match against Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight title will happen at WWE "Payback" in a few weeks.

'Raw' match results

A variety of exciting matches took place on the latest "Monday Night Raw." In one contest, Sami Zayn gave The Miz his official welcome to "Raw" by battling him and countering Skullcrushing Finale to get a pinfall win.

Charlotte Flair challenged Nia Jax. Charlotte had some impressive moves late in the match including her reverse moonsault off the corner to take down Nia on the outside. Ultimately, Nia was too powerful for the former champion in the ring and put her down with the Samoan Drop for a pinfall win. Could this win put Nia into the top contender spot for the "Raw" Women's title?

An eight-man tag team match featured current champions The Hardy Boyz and the team of Sheamus and Cesaro against Gallows, Anderson and The Shining Stars. The Hardys got the win after a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb for a pinfall. They'll take on their partners from tonight at WWE "Payback."

TJ Perkins was baited by Cruiserweight Champion Neville into believing that Austin Aries had taken all of his opportunities away.

It led to a match involving Perkins and Aries. Neville caused a distraction late helping Perkins to steal a pinfall win. After the match ended, Aries was distracted again by Neville which allowed Perkins to attack him in the ring.

A special backstage interview with Roman Reigns took place. The interview was cut short when Braun Strowman showed up to attack Reigns. Strowman tossed Reigns all over the place around the arena garage area. Reigns was eventually put on a stretcher but Braun knocked it off a dock ledge. He went one step further once Reigns was loaded into an ambulance by actually tipping the ambulance over!

The main event featured a Champion vs.

Champion match as Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens fought. Eventually, Ambrose escaped Owens' late move attempt to hit him with a Dirty Deeds for the win. Post-match, Chris Jericho made his return to "Raw" and hit the ring to knock down Owens with a Codebreaker, closing out the show.
