After a three-game losing streak, the Golden State Warriors are back in the winning column. Thanks to the defensive efforts of Draymond Green and the offensive prowess of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, the team finally ended their nightmare. Tonight’s win is also extra special since it’s Steph Curry’s Birthday. Celebrating his day with him, we look at everything that went down with SC today.

Steph Curry Stats: Warriors vs Sixers

It hasn’t been the easiest season for the two-time reigning MVP. Although the Golden State Warriors breezed through the first half of the season and still hold the top seed in the West, Curry’s stats have suffered.

He is hitting his lowest 3-point field goal percentage of his career at 39.3%. His points per game are down at 25.0 from 30.1, and his field goal percentage down from 50.4% to 45.9%.

His past two games have seen him struggle from the deep, but tonight had Steph firing from all cylinders. The game was tight up until the third quarter when the Philadelphia 76ers had a game-high lead of 16 points. Steph was shooting a poor 4-of-17 from the field for 17 points with a +/- of -11. But the fourth quarter was a totally different story. Playing the entire quarter, Chef Curry stepped up to cook up a win, shooting 4-of-6 with 3-of-5 three-pointers. He scored 12 of his 29 points on the fourth, ending the game with a +29 and ultimately a win to snap the cold streak.

Not to mention, a good 29th birthday gift for himself.

Steph Curry wears Curry 3 ‘Dubfetti’ on birthday game

Aside from his impressive game stats, Steph also took the court with a new colorway for his Under Armour Curry 3. Tagged as “Dubfetti”, the pair looked like a birthday cake on his foot, with icing and candy sprinkles melting on the sides and a sweet white-yellow-blue hue.

This is not the first birthday-inspired pair for the MVP. For the past three Steph Curry birthday celebrations, Under Armour has released a special PE for the date. Check out the sneaker below.

Mouthguard cake for the birthday boy

Curry may be known for his outrageously deep threes, but fans also know him for his mouthguard.

The GSW superstar has made chewing one’s mouthguard a thing in the NBA, and he seems to be proud of it. To celebrate his Pi day birth date, the Golden State Warriors gave Steph a special iconic mouthguard cake. It almost looks as real as SC’s own piece.Curry captioned the photo with a thank you note to his fans while promising his supporters that he will “keep growing, keep pushing.”
