Pujara and Rahane steadied the boat

The Indians stumbled at the start and slumped at 120 for 4 with Josh Hazlewood with the figures of three wickets for 37 runs. However, there was no more damage, and both Pujara and Rahane were able to weather the storm and safely took the Indian innings to the end of the day with 213 for four on the board.

The journey was painfully slow, and first India crossed the 150 mark in the 49th over. Pujara completed his 50 after facing 125 balls. He had faced 173 balls and hit six fours.

The pair rotated the strike making it difficult for the bowlers to choke the batsmen.

The Pitch Report

The pitch is deteriorating, and it will be quite an effort for the team batting first. Of the hosts can put a total of 250 + on the board as the lead, we could be seeing another nail-biting finish on the last day.
