Live updates day 2:
Bangladesh 33/0 (11.0 overs) Bangladesh trail by 461 runs with 10 wickets
Sri Lanka 494 all-out
Sri Lanka won the toss, they will bat first.
The ground with the Indian Ocean visible from both sides will be a perfect setting for the epic battle between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Sri Lanka has an image to preserve, never faced defeat on the ground where 16 tests have been played, and the hosts have won 14 matches.
The rest two was drawn. It will be a treat to watch left-arm quick Mustafizur Rahman, who is returning to competitive cricket after a hiatus of more than one year due to injury.
Mustafizur will add sting to Bangla bowling
The return of Mustafizur is surely a big heads-up for the Bangla team, and this was expressed by the visiting team’s captain. The visitors have some first timers, and this will be making the Sri Lankans nervous because they will be wading in unknown territories since not much is known about these players.

Another factor which will weigh heavily is the fact that a bulk of the Bangla Team coaching staff comprises of Sri Lankans.
The batting coach of the visiting team is none other than veteran batsman Thilan Samaraweera and Mario Villavarayan as a trainer.

Chief Coach is Chandika Hathurusingha who was the coach of ‘A’ team of Sri Lanka.Chandika has turned the Bangla 11 into a lethal team with most players performing well.
The visiting team‘s captain has fond memories of Galle since it was the venue where he scored his career best score, four years ago.
His double ton had helped Bangladesh save the match for a draw. The hosts will be keenly missing the services of the regular captain Angelo Mathews who sustained a hamstring injury in South Africa and will not be fit for the Test Series.
His place will be taken by veteran Rangana Herath who will lead the team.

Pitch and conditions
The pitch has live grass on it, and therefore it will hold the surface longer.
However, the sea breeze coupled with the hot sunshine of March will wilt the surface and could turn into a dusty strip by the fourth day.
