As we hit the last 24 hours before the trade deadline, more names are popping up on the trade block. Teams are shopping players, seeing how much they can get for their talents. Last night Magic Johnson wasted no time as new president of basketball operations, as he traded NBA sixth man nominee Lou Williams to the Rockets for Corey Brewer and a first-round pick. Also, the Hawks acquire Ersan Ilyasova from the 76ers for Tiago Splitter. Many more names are in the rumor mill, so let's take a look at new names in the trade talks.

Paul George

Forward Paul George of the Pacers has been amid some trade rumors.

He didn't commit to resigning with the Pacers in the offseason because he wants to be in the best position to win championships. George is in the last year of his deal, and many rumors have him considering going to L.A in the summer. The team most interested in George are the Celtics. The Celtics are swirling around many rumors, but this is the one they seem to be the most interested in. George is a two-way star, and that star power is what the Celtics need to be even more dominate in the eastern conference. Celtics forward Jae Crowder will likely be the piece the Pacers want in return, with maybe a draft pick or two. The Celtics are in the middle of negotiating for star players, but will they move on any of them?

Only Danny Ainge knows that answer.

Patrick Beverly

Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverly has gained some interest in trade talks, The Bulls and the Knicks have expressed interest in the feisty guard. The Cavaliers were in talks with Houston, as the Rockets were interested in acquiring Iman Shumpert. Houston said they don't intend on trading Beverly, but if the deal is sweet enough, don't be surprised to see Beverly in another jersey.

Deron Williams

The Utah Jazz expressed interest in reuniting with Deron Williams. Deron Williams has been hindered by injuries but is averaging 13.1 points, and 6.9 assist a game with the Mavs this season. Deron Williams was reported to be going to the Cavs earlier this season. Williams was picked third overall in 2005 by the Jazz.

Two of his three all-star selections came while playing for the Jazz. The Jazz, who are operating well this season might benefit from acquiring Williams, as having that veteran leadership is key to a deep playoff run. Not sure what the Mavs will be asking for but it shouldn't be a lot.

Brook Lopez

Nets center Brook Lopez's name has been in rumors for weeks now, but the Nets are asking price was too high. They were asking for two first-round picks, but no team felt as though Lopez is worth that much. Lopez is a decent big man in the league averaging almost 21 PPG. The Nets dropped the asking price for the big man, now asking for a first and a second-round pick. The Nets are trying to acquire draft picks as they are on of the worst teams in the NBA.

Lots of teams could use Lopez's talents. No word of any teams interested yet, but expect some teams to call about Lopez.

More names rise in trade talks as we countdown to the deadline. Many teams want to move on deals, but will they actually make a move? We can only wait and see. The trade deadline is 3 p.m. Thursday.
