With a mere three weeks to go until WWE officially presents the "Royal Rumble," there are still only four matches officially confirmed. The battle royal itself will take up a lot of time, and so will the three title matches, but those won't fill up four hours of time. That being said, rumors are swirling that at least four more title matches could be added to the card before the pay-per-view (PPV) takes place.

As of this writing, there are four matches in place for the "Royal Rumble" set to take place on Jan. 29, 2017. Three of the bouts are title matches:

  • WWE Heavyweight Championship: Kevin Owens (c) vs. Roman Reigns
  • WWE Championship: AJ Styles (c) vs. John Cena
  • "Raw" Women's Championship: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Bayley
  • "Royal Rumble" match

As you can see, two of the title matches listed are from "Monday Night Raw" and "SmackDown LIVE" isn't represented very well.

This year's PPV is scheduled to be four hours and there will need to be some more matches to take up time, but have no fear, as four more big title bouts are rumored, and could be added soon.

Cesaro & Sheamus vs. The Club

Once The New Day lost their titles, Cesaro and Sheamus have become the number one targets on "Monday Night Raw." After a rather disappointing start/return to their WWE careers, it seems as if Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are in place to soon capture the "Raw" Tag Team Championship. Perhaps the not-so-friendly tag team will keep the belts for a while, but this should be a fun feud.

Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch

Ever since Alexa Bliss captured the "SmackDown LIVE" Women's Championship, Becky Lynch has been trying to get it back.

They have had a few matches against one another and a masked female luchador even appeared from time to time. Some believe that the masked superstar is Mickie James, but that remains to be seen.

Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz

Dean Ambrose just recently won the Intercontinental Championship on "SmackDown LIVE," and that means only one thing -- rematch.

Ambrose just won the title off of The Miz on Jan. 3 and a rematch could come before the "Royal Rumble," this feud doesn't seem over just yet.

Rich Swann vs. Neville

Ever since Neville made his return to full-time status, he has been working with a changed attitude and chasing the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. It is currently held by Rich Swann and Neville has already shown that he can beat Swann, but he needs to do it again when the title is on the line.

With four hours to fill, WWE will likely have at least six or seven other matches on the card along with the "Royal Rumble" match. There will still be the Kickoff Show, featuring one or two matches, and it is rumored that Sasha Banks could take on Nia Jax.
