The war between the Newman men is about to escalate on “The Young and the Restless.” Victor's namesake believes he can manipulate his older brother into giving him full custody of the son he had with Sage. He has absolutely no idea that his sibling is going to call his bluff. Nick will go to his father for financial assistance after Jack was not able to help him. The men argue and Nick walks away frustrated. He is so furious that he decides to make a life-changing decision in order to protect his son. He will find his half brother and tell Adam that he will never obtain custody of Christian.

Nicholas will then give his sibling the keys to Dark Horse and call on Chelsea in order to maintain rights to his son.

Nick calls Adam's bluff

Last week on "The Young and the Restless," Michael advised Nick to find an investor to take care of the 27 million dollars in Dark Horse debt that Adam is holding over his head. On Tuesday he made phone calls but no one would come to his aid. Celeb Dirty Laundry says he will go to Jack, who is willing to help but does not have the money. Nicholas becomes so desperate that he does something he hates as a last resort and turns to his father. On Tuesday the two men argue and Victor reminds his oldest son of their history and says he won't side with either son

Nicholas is down, but not out, and makes a bold decision.

He locates his brother and calls his bluff. Victor's namesake has totally underestimated his older brother and is not prepared for what happens next. Adam believes his sibling will give in and hand him his son, but instead, Nick gives him the keys to Dark Horse. Nicholas knows his brother never wanted his company and is only using it as leverage.

He makes it absolutely clear to his youngest sibling that he will never relinquish custody of Christian to his biological father. "Y&R" spoilers indicate that this is when a secret weapon comes into play. Celebrity Dirty Laundry says that Nick will call on Chelsea to help him deal with his brother.

Chelsea may decide Christian's fate

Christian is the biological son of Adam and Sage but was raised by Nick, as his own, when the boy's mother died. After Adam was presumed dead in the explosion Chelsea dated Nick and they reared Christian and Conner together. Chelsea left Genoa City last year and Nick found a video where she admits Adam is really the father of Sage's child. Later Victor took his grandson away from his son but later reunited them. Now "Y&R" has the little boy in the center of yet another custody battle.

Chelsea has remarried and her new husband adopted Conner, but she will agree to come back to Genoa City. Spoilers have not yet revealed who will ultimately gain custody of the child but indicate the battle will be fierce.CDL and Soap Dirt promise updates when they become available, so be on the lookout for them.
