On "The Young and the Restless" Jack Abbott and his sister Ashley have been business rivals for quite some time. Their sibling Traci has found herself often in the middle of their feuds and trying to be a peace broker. Now the sisters must bond as never before to help their brother with end of life decisions for their mother. The Alzheimer's disease has progressed and Ms. Mergeron's children have no choice but to place her in a memory care facility. Spoilers indicate that Dina will react strongly and believe she is being abandoned. This will be a distressful time for the family as they make painful but necessary decisions.
Abbott siblings must work together on 'Y&R'
Eileen Davidson will be back on "The Young and the Restless" this week because Ashley is needed in Genoa City. Dina became disoriented last week and did not know where she was. Traci became so distraught that she called her brother to come home immediately. Once Jack arrived his sibling shared with him how agitated their mother had become and he talked to their mother and got her to settle down. Dina went to her bedroom but later, as her children were talking she crept back down the stairs, She overheard them say it was time to put her in a memory care facility.
Spoiler alerts say this week Ms. Mergeron's condition will continue to decline, She will accuse her children of abandoning her and there will be some tense scenes on "The Young and the Restless." Early on Dina was spunky, and some of her antics were humorous.
Now that the Alzheimer's is taking a bigger toll, the situation is dire. Ashley and Jack will put aside their differences to assist Traci in the best decision for their mom. The Abbott siblings will form a bond as they manage their mom's care in these last days.
Traci and Ashley form a closer bond

What is known is that Ashley will be on hand this week to help Jack and Traci deal with Dina's health crisis. This will be a tense time in the Abbott household and Ms. Mereron's children will grow closer as they do what they believe is in the best interest of the family matriarch. Naturally, in time there will be sibling rivalries but for now, fans get to see the bond strengthen between the sisters and their brother.
Having Ashley around might be a great distraction for Traci, who has been fantasizing about Cane. she may even confide in her sister, the things she could never tell Jack.
