Fans have continued to fill theater auditoriums watching "Avengers: Endgame" since it opened in theaters. For those who still have not seen the film, the time to avoid spoilers is almost up. Now the "Endgame" has entered week two in theaters, audiences now are at the stage of re-watching the movie.

One of the reasons that have kept people from rushing to theaters is because some key points have been leaked or spoiled for moviegoers. Despite serious attempts by Marvel and the Russo brothers, footage ended up being leaked online prior to the premiere.

'Avengers: Endgame' spoiler ban lifting on Monday

If you have yet to see "Endgame," the Russo Brothers believe it's fair game for spoilers to be unleashed on social media. The Russos said that they felt like two weeks was enough for everyone to go see it and now people should be able to talk about it. At a certain point they said that following the second weekend, it's okay to share spoilers.

It's now week two, and if you haven't watched "Endgame" yet, it's only your fault. If you bump into spoilers and missing out on Marvel conversations around the watercooler, it's not the fault of the Marvel Cinematic Universe fan community.

Now that the movie has collected $2 billion, it's safe to say that the "universe" has seen the movie multiple times.

Prior to the official release of "Avengers: Endgame" the Russo Brothers released a letter to fans, politely asking them to not spoil the film for others after they saw it. While it may seem strange to have an unofficial "spoiler ban," it's needed given how serious fans are about avoiding details about the film that closes out the Avengers 10-year storyline.

People have become violent when it comes to responding to spoilers

Several major incidents occurred over spoilers being released. A Domino's employee was arrested after assaulting his coworker who spoiled "Avengers: Endgame." In Hong Kong, a man was attacked after he shared spoilers outside the theater where he watched "Endgame." The man allegedly revealed the shocking ending to the film, causing fans to snap and attack him.

The Russo Brothers appeared on Good Morning America to publicly confirm when the spoiler ban ends. The issue of publicly discussing spoilers has become a struggle in recent years thanks to "Game of Thrones," and the "Avengers: Endgame" signaling the end of the Infinity Sage of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Russos have taken to Twitter to encourage fans to see the film before the spoiler ban is lifted on Monday. People have taken every precaution to avoid "Endgame" spoilers, and it totally makes sense. "Avengers: Endgame" is the final chapter in a story that was started in the very first MCU film "Iron Man."
