The current love triangle on "The Young and the Restless" just took a nasty turn for Summer. Spoiler alerts, however, say she may be down but definitely is not out. Kyle and Lola will finally make love but there will be many obstacles to their living happily ever after. One of them is the commitment that comes with Ms. Rosales being head chef at Society. This may work to Summer's advantage because she will exploit the situation in hopes of getting her spouse back. If there happens to be a little baby Abbott in the oven, this will sweeten the deal for Skyle fans, who are hoping their favorite couple will get back together.
Summer continues to fight for Kyle
Soaps She Knows reports that Summer will not give up on her marriage, even though Kyle and Lola finally make love. The spoiler says the new Mrs. Abbott will continue plotting ways to get her man back, and Celeb Dirty Laundry teases she will exploit her rival's biggest weakness in the worst way. Lola is used to the single life, was a virgin and is a workaholic. She broke up with Kyle twice, once because she thought the pocketbook he gave her for Christmas was too expensive. Now that Skyle is married, Ms. Rosales suddenly has decided to give in to passion.
Lola will be trying to get her new restaurant off the ground and will not be able to give Kyle the attention he desires.
There is also the possibility that Ms. Rosales may be a disappointment in bed. Summer is going to exploit these two situations to her advantage by trying to lure her spouse back to her bed, and pointing out that Lola has no time for him. Spoilers, however, do not indicate whether or not this plot will work.
Lola may not be able to compete with Summer
Lola is an innocent but Summer is a spoiled little rich girl with Phyllis for her mother. She is going to fight until the bitter end to save her marriage, even though Kyle broke her heart. He exploited her love for him, then made love to her, telling her that he loved her and now he walks away.
Summer is humiliated because both her parents warned her and their words seem to be coming to pass. Celeb Dirty Laundry suggests that she just might win Kyle back. If she turns out to be pregnant, Lola will surely walk away.
CDL indicates that Summer will put her plan to keep Kyle into motion during May sweeps, and Lola won't know what hit her. It could be that Kyle decides he made a mistake and goes back to his wife.
