“Avengers: Endgame” could be a blockbuster. However, the movie world is full of uncertainties. Last year it was Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War.” Initial estimates put the debut figures at between $185 million and $225 million and it went on to reach a total of $257.6 million. When it came to its global opening weekend, the figure was $640.5 million. Obviously, the audience loved the movie and showed its appreciation.
Daily Mail UK reports this year it's time for “Avengers: Endgame” to show its mettle. Initial debut box office expectations are between $200 million and $250 million but it could spring a surprise with earnings of between $750 and $800 million worldwide.
This will be because of its Chinese debut. In the case of “Avengers: Infinity War,” the Chinese market took off a few weeks after its domestic debut, hence could not make much of an impression. However, this time, “Avengers: Endgame” will debut in China two days ahead of its domestic debut.

Runtime of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is three hours
The runtime of a movie has a bearing on the number of shows that can be accommodated in a day. In the case of “Avengers: Endgame” the runtime is slightly more than three hours which makes it the longest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In comparison, the runtime for “Avengers: Infinity War” was two hours and 29 minutes. Obviously, the latest Avengers movie will have to do with fewer shows at each theater. Marvel could compensate for this by roping in more theaters. "Infinity War" opened in 4,474 theaters, and Endgame will have to go beyond that.

As far as earnings go, the figures of "Infinity War" are impressive enough.
Daily Mail UK says it earned more than $2.048 billion worldwide to become the highest-grossing movie of the year worldwide. The demand for "Endgame" tickets is high and traffic was heavy on many ticket sites. Various sources confirmed that “Avengers: Endgame” has put “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” to shade as far as the highest ticket sales for the first 24 hours is concerned.
There are reports of sales of tickets on a premium at eBay.
Thanos will return in ‘Avengers: Endgame’
According to Screenrant, Thanos is set to return to “Avengers: Endgame.” Fans of the Avengers have wanted to see them clash with Thanos, the Mad Titan. It took Marvel Studios six years to get to that stage. Josh Brolin plays the character of this villain and when he confronted the Avengers, he lost no time to prove his might. Marvel has woven a veil of secrecy around the character of the Mad Titan. The film trailers have revealed very little about him. The intention is to keep the fans guessing which appears to be a good strategy for the box office. An element of suspense always pays rich dividends and the demand for tickets is an indication that Marvel is on the right track.
