Maci Bookout, one of the original "Teen Mom OG" stars, is making headlines over a recent photo that caused some fans of the show to question whether she's pregnant again. Maci, who already has three children, hasn't confirmed anything, but she and her husband Taylor McKinney have talked about having more kids on the show.
With the recent photo, Maci hasn't said anything about being pregnant. But a source tells Hollywood Life that Bookout is laughing off these recent rumors about her carrying her fourth child. She's reportedly well aware that the rumors exist and she thinks it's funny that people care so much about her body's changes.
On "Teen Mom OG," Bookout has been vocal about suffering from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, also known as PCOS. It's a hormonal disorder that can prevent an egg from being released regularly.
Fans defend Maci Bookout
This is not the first time that Maci Bookout has been caught up in the baby rumor mill. But as one fan pointed out on Twitter yesterday, why do people care so much about whether or not she's pregnant?
She already has 3 so it would be bay number 4, and if she is great, but why is it our business... @MaciBookout https://t.co/pQ8NckViKh

If Bookout is indeed pregnant with another baby, she will announce it when she's ready. This is exactly what the source revealed to Hollywood Life, sharing that if Maci is indeed pregnant, she would wait a while before announcing it, simply because of her struggle with PCOS.
On "Teen Mom OG," Bookout had told her husband that she wanted more kids but said that she would be open to adoption so she didn't have to carry the child on her own.
Can Maci Bookout's PCOS prevent pregnancy?
The Mayo Clinic reveals that women who suffer from PCOS may have infrequent or long periods. In addition, women may not ovulate regularly, making it hard to plan when to be physical with the goal of getting pregnant, as sexual intercourse has to be timed with ovulation.
In addition, the ovaries may develop small collections of fluids and could be extremely painful for some women. It's a common condition and Maci has used her MTV platform to talk about the condition.
Interestingly, Maci Bookout and Taylor have talked about adoption and they've expressed interest in adopting a child compared to a baby.
They feel their family isn't complete, but it's possible that a pregnancy isn't what Maci is hoping for to complete her family. Until "Teen Mom OG" returns later this year, fans will just have to wait and see what happens.
What do you think about Maci Bookout facing another pregnancy rumor? Are you surprised that her fans are now coming to her defense?
