Maci Bookout is one of the "Teen Mom OG" stars who tend to follow the rules. She has shown up for every required segment she was supposed to film, she has traveled to New York to do reunion specials, and she has no problem speaking out. She even threatened to quit "Teen Mom OG" at one point, as she didn't want her son to be on the same show as Farrah Abraham after she was caught making adult films and getting paid for it. While fans have seen Farrah being fired from the show, it sounds like there is more trouble brewing for the entire franchise.
According to a new article, Maci Bookout is now revealing that things aren't going great behind the scenes. While she didn't speak out directly, she did share an article that discussed what is going on behind the scenes. Maybe she's warning fans of what is to come this season, as "Teen Mom OG" fans are anticipating the reunion special. Only two of the four stars showed up to film the required reunion special. It's possible that Farrah Abraham still had contractual obligations to film the reunion special, despite being fired earlier this season.
Trouble with co-stars
Maci is hinting that there is some trouble with her "Teen Mom OG" co-stars. It's no secret that the producers struggled to work with Farrah Abraham this season, as she continued to disrespect her producers.
This isn't the first time that producers threatened to fire her. While Maci, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood began filming "Teen Mom OG" without Farrah a few years ago, it sounds like the producers are now sticking firm to their choices.
She was given the ultimatum about the show, as senior producer, Morgan J.
Freeman tells her on next week's episode that she needs to stop doing the online webcam shows if she wants to continue with "Teen Mom OG."
MTV firing reality stars
But Farrah isn't the only person to lose her job with MTV. Jenelle Evans' husband David Eason wasn't given a choice. He was recently fired for making homophobic comments on his social media accounts.
Producers didn't like what they saw and within hours, they had issued a statement saying they stopped all production with him. It's unknown whether Jenelle Evans will continue with the show, as she defended his tweets, simply saying that he didn't understand how Twitter worked when he spoke out and shared his controversial views.
What do you think of Maci Bookout teasing that there's trouble behind the scenes? Do you think more people could face the ax?
