The deck seems to be stacked against the Newman patriarch and all of Genoa City anticipates that he will be found guilty. Victor will have the last laugh over Jack
Soap Dirt teases that Jack is going to pay a visit to his arch-rival and taunt him for being in jail. He will even get in Victor's face and tell him that this time he is going down. The spoiler indicates that Victor will look at his nemesis and reply, "Really?" This suggests that the mustache has some secret knowledge that others in Genoa City are not privy too and the mustache will have the last laugh.
Celeb Dirty Laundry brings up the possibility that perhaps J.T. is not dead, and if true Victor may be aware of that fact. Previews for Monday's "Y&R" episode reveal that Nikki is going to tell her husband that she murdered their former son-in-law, and he will reply that she should never say that again.
Why would the Newman patriarch attempt to silence his wife unless he knows something about J.T.'s actual fate?
Victor and Jack will continue their feud
Jack is upset because Victor never paid a price for kidnapping him and Mr. Abbott believes Nikki can do better than her current husband. He is elated that Christine and Rey have charged his nemesis even without a body.
Like most others in Genoa City, Jack thinks that its game over, but he is wrong. There are too many unanswered questions such as where was Victor during the month he was MIA, and who moved J.T.'s body from Chancellor Park?
Someone set fire to the Newman ranch and placed J.T.'s clothes on Nikki's bed which suggest there is at least one individual other than Victor who is involved.
Once these mysteries are solved the Newman patriarch may be set free and he and Jack can continue their decades' long feud. Fans are eager for this storyline to be completed so perhaps with Mal Young out of the picture there can be swift closure.
