There was wide speculation that Anuel AA and Karol G were a couple and the music video for "Secreto" confirmed that. The video was all about their love for each other and it showed them having lots of fun and enjoying the company they provide each other. Both are large names in the Spanish rap game and are known around the globe from people from different cultures and backgrounds.
About Anuel Aa
Anuel Aa was born Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago on November 26, 1992, in Carolina, Puerto Rico. His biggest musical influence was his father who was the president of Sony music in Puerto Rico.
On April 3, 2016, Anuel AA was arrested in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico for gun possession which landed him a 30-month sentence. When the public heard about his arrest, people started the #FreeAnuel movement that became viral. During his time in prison, he was a featured artist on multiple songs composed by J Balvin, Ozuna, Bad Bunny, and others. For a 90 day time period during his sentence, he was put into solitary confinement due to an altercation with another prisoner. He was released 27 months into his sentence.
About Karol G
Karol G was born Carolina Giraldo Navarro on February 14, 1991, in Colombia. She moved to New York in her early years of adulthood so she could pursue a career in music.
Anuel AA's music career
He released his first song, called "Demonia," back in 2011. The song was well liked among other Spanish rappers as many remixes of the song were made. He has also made many other popular songs like "Ella Quiere Beber" which has over 200 million views on YouTube. Other songs of Anuel are"Hipocrita" featuring Zion, "Brindemos" featuring Ozuna.
When he was released from prison in July 2018, he released his first album called "Real Hasta La Muerte" which was listed as the top album on the Billboard Latin charts in less than 24 hours from its release time. He has also been a future on many songs which two of those features coming songs by 6ix9ine. One of the songs, "Bebe" was released at the end of August and the other song by 6ix9ine that he is featured on is "Mala" which is one of the songs in 6ix9ine's album "DUMMY BOY".
There are three catchphrases that he says on every song. He is known to start off each song with "Uau" and usually ends his songs with "Real Hasta La Muerte" which means real until death in English and "Brrrrrrrrr". The latter two catchphrases are sometimes said during other parts of some songs.
Karol G's music career
As a child, Karol G was on the talent show "The X Factor" which is where her music career kicked off. Her first big song was in 2013 under the name "Amor De Dos" which featured Nicky Jam and has over 100 million views on YouTube.
As the years went by, she started becoming more popular. In 2017, she released "Ahora Me Llama" featuring Bad Bunny and that song has garnered more than half a billion views on YouTube.

Secreto is not the first song that they have collaborated on together as they have also collaborated on "Culpables" which was released in September 2018 and has over 425 million views on YouTube. That song has been on the featured as one of the top 50 Latin songs on billboard.com for the past 17 weeks and counting. In just 13 hours, Secreto has gotten over 3.5 million views and is sure to get many more as it could very well reach nine digits in the number of views the video will get on YouTube.
