Spoiler alerts for "The Young and the Restless" indicate that fan favorite Tristan Lake Leabu will return to his role as the son of Victoria and J.T. on December 10. The Emmy nominated actor abruptly left Genoa City shortly after his father was murdered by his grandmother Nikki. Reed went away to boarding school believing that he had been abandoned by his dad and his budding relationship with Mattie was cut short before it had a chance to develop. Now that Reed is coming home this will no doubt increase the guilt and emotional pressure on his mother, grandmother, and two aunts.
This may even be a sign that the truth about J.T. Helstrom is about to come to light.
Tristan Lake Leabu's return spells trouble for Genoa City
"Y&R" gave no official reason why Tristan Lake Leabu's character was so abruptly rushed out of town for boarding school. Spoilers say his return at this particular time should bring closure to situations that he left behind and will also spell trouble for a number of Genoa City residents. Victoria, Nikki, Sharon, and Phyllis will see this as an added wrinkle in their attempt t cover up J.T.'s murder. Soap Hub suggests that J.T.'s son may be instrumental in the truth being revealed, which means that viewers will finally know who removed his body from Chancellor park and why.
Reed's return to Genoa City on December 10, will cause the cover-up crew to become nervous which may lead to their making mistakes. The teen will probably continue asking questions regarding his father's disappearance and this will keep the four women on edge. If they slip up, Rey will be close at hand ready to swoop in. Vickie's son will also be a headache for Cane who is parenting his daughter alone now that Lily is incarcerated.
Mr. Ashby will not enjoy knowing that the teenagers may decide to finish what they began last summer.
Reed may find romance as well as closure regarding his dad
Soap Dirt implies that Reed may return to Genoa City just in the time for his mother, grandma, and aunts to be on trial for his father's murder. At this time, however, J.T.'s body has been moved from its burial site in Chancellor Park but by December 10 it's possible that everything could change.
Soap Dirt spoilers suggest that Rey will finally close in on the cover-up crew so Mr. Helstrom's remains could surface and this unpopular storyline be put to rest. In the meantime, Reed may pick up where he left off in his romance with Mattie.
Now that Lily has been moved out of town for her own safety, her daughter may welcome her first love back into her life. She and Reed may even decide to take their relationship to the next level. Spoilers don't say whether Tristan Lake Leabu will be in Genoa City for a few episodes or if he is on contract, so be on the lookout for updates related to his storyline. Be sure to continue watching "The Young and the Restless" weekday afternoons on CBS at 12:30 PM EST.
