“Southern Charm” fans and followers wondered whether Bravo star Kathryn Dennis would ask the court to change the custody arrangement affecting her young son and daughter that she shares with her ex-boyfriend Thomas Ravenel.

The guesswork is over. Kathryn filed the necessary paperwork for the court to consider her request for modified custody and visitation, according to All About the Real Housewives. Kathryn submitted her documents on October 26, according to the Reality Blurb.

Kathryn keeps opinion about ex to herself – for now

Kathryn and Ravenel, a disgraced politician and former Bravo star, have a son, Saint, and a daughter, Kensie.

Until media reports surfaced that Kathryn is asking the court to revamp the former couple’s custody arrangement, she was hush-hush about her ex’s legal problems. Not a word. She told Andy Cohen, on an episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” that would refrain from commenting for now while the case remains ongoing.

TRav head for trial for alleged assault and battery

Ravenel was accused by a former nanny, known in media as Nanny Dawn, of sexual assault and battery. He was arrested on September 25 for assault and battery. He had a preliminary hearing on November 5.

A South Carolina judge determined that there is sufficient evidence for the case against Ravenel to go to trial.

In addition to Kathryn staying mum on the topic of legal trouble in Ravenel’s life, most of his former “Southern Charmco-stars have also been tight-lipped. Whatever their thoughts might be, they are not disclosing their opinions.

Two romantic interests of Ravenel’s still extend support

There are two exceptions about who has been willing to say anything: Two women.

Both have been a romantic interest in his life. Landon Clements and Ashley Jacobs have defended him. Andy Cohen only stated that Ravenel’s drama is unfortunate. Bravo released a statement that Ravenel will not be including in taping the upcoming season of “Southern Charm.”

It should come as no surprise that his former co-stars really haven’t anything to say about him. On more than one occasion, he took to social media where he went on tirades, bashing most of the people in his closest social circle from the reality show.

His most recent rant was just days before his arrest.

Former attorney cited fame to blame for allegations

Ravenel’s former attorney, who died in a plane crash in early October, was Richard P. Terbrusch. He extended the view that his client was a prime target for accusations because of the level of fame Ravenel has achieved.

For Ravenel, a courtroom is not virgin ground. While he was the State Treasurer of South Carolina, he faced drug charges. He ended up pleading guilty to cocaine distribution in 2007. He also resigned from office and did some prison time.

TRav partied with on and off girlfriend

No one knows what TRav was thinking prior to his preliminary hearing. However, he did party with his sometimes-girlfriend Ashley Jacobs on Halloween, Radar Online reported.

Another former “Southern Charm” cast member, K. Cooper Ray, shared a video on Instagram that depicts TRav and Jacobs together on Halloween night.
