"Marrying Father Christmas" had an extended trailer by Hallmark this past week, and the third movie in the holiday series debuts on Sunday, November 4. Over on Facebook, fans of "When Calls the Heart" (WCTH), can't wait for Niall Matter and Erin Krakow to share the screen. For those who don't know, in WCTH, Niall acted the role of the single father of Philip when trying to cope with the loss of his wife. She died during childbirth and in season four we saw he and his son at odds and tangled in a strained relationship. Erin Krakow plays the lead role of teacher Elizabeth Thatcher in the popular Hallmark series.

New Father Christmas movie arrives Sunday this week

"Marrying Father Christmas" brings the two actors back on the screen again and they have a remarkable chemistry. Erin married her lover, Jack, in "WCTH," and it ended tragically, but in "Marrying Father Christmas," hopefully there will be a better outcome. The third "Father Christmas" movie follows on from the previous Movies, "Finding Father Christmas" and "Engaging Father Christmas."

Fans of Hallmark will get to see the "Marrying Father Christmas" movie on Hallmark on November 4. The first two films showed promise and the prospect of happiness for Erin (Miranda), and in time, Ian (Niall Matter). However, each film brought some tense moments and times of uncertainty for Miranda.

This movie is likely to bring the same sort of tension to viewers.

In the first movie, although Miranda managed to track down her family on her unknown father's side, she faced difficult choices in Carlton Heath, a small Vermont town. Ian was there for her, to help her try and discover the truth, but the truth is not always easy to find.

In the second movie, "Engaging Father Christmas," she anticipated the engagement to Ian, but on the family front, things got a bit awkward. In fact, Miranda was asked by the matriarch of the Whitcomb family to keep her relationship and that of her parents a secret. Nevertheless, it looked to be a wonderful Christmas until she got a text message that threatened her happiness.

Extended sneak peek of the latest Father Christmas movie

"Marrying Father Christmas" has an extended preview by Hallmark, and it looks to be captivating and as charming as a Christmas story can possibly be. In it, we see Miranda looking excited about Christmas again. The first focus is on Ian and Miranda discussing their wedding service. Miranda says they want to keep it simple. They just want to enjoy the opportunity of enjoying their celebration with friends and family. When asked about their vows, Miranda said they had written their own and they were all done. Ian looked a bit shocked, and he later gets some writers block getting them done and dusted. Meanwhile, Erin isn't too happy with the suggestion that the venue should change to the Whitcomb home instead of their cottage.

Parade.com takes the story a bit further. Their expanded synopsis of the plot, says that "Miranda’s wedding plans are quickly complicated when a mysterious visitor who claims to have ties to her late parents reaches out to her just days before her wedding." This can't be easy for Miranda. Her wedding day is the most special day of life, and now there's a stranger in the midst. It's going to take some careful navigation in the early days of her next life chapter.

"Marrying Father Christmas" can be viewed on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on Sunday, November 4 at 9 PM (ET).
