New spoilers for the fifth season of "The Flash" reveal Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen catching another DC villain in episode 5. The CW Network released the plot synopsis for episode 5 and the husband and wife will encounter Ragdoll.

"Arrowverse" stars Melissa Benoist and Stephen Amell posted new behind-the-scenes photos of the "Elseworlds" crossover. Season 5 will focus on Team Flash stopping a new metahuman main villain, Cicada, with the help of their new allies, Nora Allan and Harrison "Sherloque" Wells. Barry will also teach his future daughter how to be a better superhero, as well as tackling the responsibilities of being a father.

Ragdoll debuts

According to We Got This Covered, the plot of episode 5 will have Barry and Iris team-up to catch Rag Doll in Central City after Nora told a shocking revelation to her mother during the events of episode 4. The Hashtag Show previously reported that the CW Network is looking for flexible actors or professional contortionist to play the character since Ragdoll has the ability to bend his own body to fit in small spaces. Ragdoll is also described as a deranged and emotionally disturbed criminal.

The plot synopsis also featured Caitlin Snow discovering new information linking to her father's disappearance. Caitlin began investigating the whereabouts of Thomas Snow after she found out his death certificate is fake.

Her reunion with her father will not be easy as Thomas is hiding something from her father and it could be related to her Killer Frost powers. Ralph Dibny (Elongated Man) and Cisco Ramon (Vibe) will help Caitlin solve the mystery of her father and her powers.

New bts photos for Elseworlds

According to Comic Book.com, "Supergirl" actress Melissa Benoist posted an Instagram photo for the "Elseworlds" featuring Ruby Rose's Batwoman in full costume.

The photo teased a team-up between the two heroines as Supergirl along with Flash and Green Arrow will visit Gotham City.

"Arrow" star Stephen Amell also shared a photo for the crossover on Twitter revealing several bloody pieces of equipment and chopped off arms indicating brutal and graphic scenes. Amell previously posted a photo featuring John Wesley Shipp's Flash costume from the 90's TV show.

"Elseworlds" also sees Barry and Oliver Queen switching superhero identities and meeting Superman and Lois Lane for the first time. The heroes will battle the maniacal Doctor Destiny and the mysterious alien figure, The Monitor.
