"Deadpool 2: The Super Duper Cut" will have extra content added to the successful film that arrived in May of this year. For anyone who doesn't know, Deadpool is the conflicted hero or mercenary with a big mouth and powerful healing abilities. He was transformed into the mutant by an experiment gone wrong (in the new film series). The character also is a wisecracking jokester who does as he so pleases. Now, there will be bonus content coming to the movie. Below are the details on the "Super Duper Cut," as confirmed by Ryan Reynolds, who plays the title character.

The extended edition

According to Comic Book, via Marvel, "Star and producer Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter on Monday morning to announce the release of Deadpool 2: The Super Duper Cut, which will be available for Digital HD purchase on August 7th, and on Blu-ray/DVD on August 21st.[sic]" Fans will not have to wait too long for the extended edition, as it is right in time for the end of the summer.

The actor even shared a video to show off the Blu-Ray packaging. He also used the word "spandexier" to describe it. The clip promises that it will be longer and filled with even more action than the original film. The preview is also met with some nice background vocals.

To add to the excitement, a special viewing of the film will be shown at a Comic-Con event.

According to Comic Book, "Be the first to see a super-duper special screening of Deadpool 2 and maybe some surprises.[sic]" Costumes are welcomed for the event as it will be shown on July 21 at 10 PM.

Very successful film franchise

"Deadpool 2" has reached critical acclaim since its release, as according to Screen Rant, "the film has already racked up quite the impressive box office revenue of over $720 million, which makes it the third highest grossing R-rated release ever." The film has been doing very well with fans all across the world.

The extended version will also help make the film even more money when it arrives next month.

There still are some questions to be answered for "Deadpool 2: The Super Duper Cut," as fans are left wondering how much Deadpool bonus content will be added and what exactly will be on it. It could be added scenes that were deleted and some comedic content of Deadpool rattling off various jokes. The first film was widely successful for its funny jokes, action, and story, and the second film succeeds in those same goals. "Deadpool 2: The Super Duper Cut" should be a hot ticket in August.
