Chelsea Houska is reportedly upset that an entire film crew was sent to North Carolina to film a special "Teen Mom 2" reunion segment with Jenelle Evans. According to a June 4 report by The Ashley's Reality Roundup, MTV footed the bill for several members of their team to travel to Evans' home state after she reportedly refused to travel to New York City and reunite with her co-stars. Oddly, they didn't offer to do the same for Houska, who is currently pregnant with her third child and opted out of filming early after an on-set fight between Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus.
As The Ashley explained, producers chose to simply set up a Skype call between Houska and host Dr. Drew Pinsky rather than pay to fly to her hometown for a face-to-face interview. “It made it so obvious who ['Teen Mom 2']’s producers and the network value more!” the source added.
Jenelle Evans reportedly decided not to fly to New York City to film the "Teen Mom 2" season eight reunion because the network refused to pay for her fired husband, David Eason, to travel with her. As fans of the series will recall, Eason was canned by the network after sharing a hateful rant against he LGBT community on his now-deleted Twitter page.
Chelsea Houska left New York City early after a physical altercation between her co-stars
Chelsea Houska traveled to New York City last month to attend the reunion taping for "Teen Mom 2" but after the on-set fight between Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus, she left set and didn't return. As the outlet explained, Houska felt unsafe because of what took place between the women and didn't stay for the following day's filming.
“[Jenelle Evans] didn’t even put the time and effort into going to the Reunion, and [Chelsea Houska] did, yet they made a huge production of going to Jenelle and filming, while Chelsea’s portions were like a rushed afterthought,” a crew source explained to The Ashley.
“Chelsea was pissed that they went to such great lengths to make Jenelle happy."
The 'Teen Mom 2' cast feels Jenelle Evans is treated better than them
According to the source, Chelsea Houska, Kailyn Lowry, and Leah Messer have been feeling like they are treated as if they are second-class citizens in comparison to Jenelle Evans for their entire runs on the series. After all, as Evans makes crazy demands and throws fits over not getting what she requests, MTV and its staff have seemingly been quick to please her and give her special treatment.
