Marvel fans most recently saw Stan Lee with another cameo appearance in the blockbuster film, "Avengers: Infinity War." Lee portrayed a bus driver who suggested to the younger passengers that seeing a UFO wasn't a rare occurrence. As far as Mark Hamill goes, fans most recently saw him reprise his role as Luke Skywalker in the space opera "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" last year. Now, a report has indicated that the two stars will team up in an animated series involving earth's mightiest heroes. An article by Digital Spy presented most of the information used in this post.

New 'Avengers' season details

That latest animated season will be called "Marvel’s Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest." This will be the next season of Disney XD's animated "Avengers Assemble" series. It's been going strong since it first debuted in 2014 as part of the network's Marvel programming. Each season takes a different focus, but they've involved numerous characters including Iron Man, Captain America, Ant-Man, and Black Panther.

To date, there have been four seasons with the most recent one focused on the "Secret Wars" storyline.

In that story, a villain named Anim Zola was part of a group known as Cabala. That group was responsible for scattering the Avengers team members across time and space. Mark Hamill has provided the voice for Anim Zola during the "Avengers Assemble" series.

Mark Hamill and Stan Lee's roles

According to Heroic Hollywood, both Stan Lee and Mark Hamill will provide their voices for characters in the new chapter of the series.

Hamill will continue to voice the character Arnim Zola, who is described as a "brilliant HYDRA scientist" with a "technological body." It's also mentioned that this character has been "locked in a 70-year battle" with one of the Avengers' leaders, Captain America. The show also brings more of Black Panther into the story, as the title suggests.

Stan Lee's voice will also be featured on the show, but so far there haven't been any details revealed about which character he'll voice. Much like his cameo appearances in the various Marvel films, it's being kept a secret for now. While newer fans of the Marvel superheroes won't recognize Lee's voice, older fans will probably be able to easily pick out which character he is.

Lee jokes about working with Hamill

As Heroic Hollywood also mentioned, Stan Lee joked about why it was terrible to work with Hamill. Basically, the man responsible for a lot of the Marvel lore today praised Hamill as a highly-talented voice actor. Lee mentioned that Hamill has the ability to become like Baron Zemo when he reads the lines, whereas Lee himself is reading lines as himself.

That makes sense, as Mark Hamill isn't just known for playing the role of Luke Skywalker in multiple Star Wars films. He's also provided the voice for classic comic book villain The Joker. Hamill did the voice work for the sinister character starting in 1992 with "Batman: The Animated Series," and then contributed to a number of aminated spin-offs and other projects. He's also provided the voice in Batman video games, and it has garnered him plenty of praise for it. Fans will be able to see the new chapter of the "Avengers" series and hear Hamill and Lee's voices featured when the new "Avengers" season arrives in fall 2018.
