The latest updates and spoilers for "The Flash" live-action solo movie reveal that the film's main star Ezra Miller met with two potential directors to handle the DC comic project. Film directors Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley are the new names that are going to helm the film, and Miller stated during the Wizard World Comic Con event that the latter met the two and discussed their take on the Scarlet Speedster in the movie.

"Dope" actress Kiersey Clemons has confirmed that she is still playing Barry Allen's love interest, Iris West in the live-action movie during her guest appearance in "CONAN." There have rumors that Clemon's was supposed to be replaced and Warner Bros. Studios is looking for a new actress to fill her role.

New directors teased?

According to Miller, he has met Goldstein and Daley as he praised them for their work on projects such as "Horrible Bosses," "Vacation," and "Game Night."

"Yeah, I did. I met them. I met them recently," Miller said. "They're really, really, really cool guys. I really like their work a lot.

I think they're really great."

Unfortunately, the "Fantastic Beast" actor did not offer much information regarding the story details of "The Flash" film. Both Goldstein and Daley were tapped to help make "The Flash" as they want audiences to relate to Barry Allen as human being similar to how they wrote Peter Parker's character in "Spider-Man: Homecoming."

"Dope" director Rick Famuyiwa was originally on board to helm the DC live-action film but left the project due to creative differences. To make matters worse, the movie will probably not adopt the classic Flash storyline "Flashpoint."

The "Flashpoint" storyline will feature Barry Allen waking up in an alternate present timeline wherein he lost his Speed Force powers, and the Justice League was never formed.

He then seeks out Batman who happens to be Thomas Wayne instead of Bruce. There is also a war between Aquaman's Atlantean kingdom against Wonder Woman's Amazons that will destroy the whole world.

Iris West confirmed

Kiersey Clemons told Conan O'Brien on his talk show that she will be playing Iris West in "The Flash" solo film. She was originally set to have a cameo appearance in the "Justice League" movie but was cut in its theatrical release. A bonus clip of the film was leaked online featuring Clemon's character being saved by Barry from a car collision.

Iris West is Barry's love interest in the comics, and she is portrayed by Candice Peyton in the live-action TV series on the CW Network.
