Scheana Marie was one of the only cast members of "Vanderpump Rules" who wasn't seen attending the funeral of Jax Taylor's father, Ronald Cauchi, at the end of last year. However, while a sneak peek at the three-part reunion special seemed to suggest that Scheana completely snubbed her longtime co-star and co-worker, she claims that definitely wasn't the case.

After the preview of the reunion special was released on Monday night, Scheana took to her Twitter account in an attempt to defend herself from the criticism she was receiving. "[Jax Taylor] knows I reached out several times after his dad passed," she explained, adding that she checked in regularly with Taylor's girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright.

The following day, Scheana Marie shared a second tweet with her fans and followers after one person suggested that Taylor simply forgot she had reached out. "Absolutely. And in that moment I’m sure [Jax Taylor] wasn’t remembering," she said. Scheana continued on, insisting that she reached out to Taylor "immediately" after learning of his dad's passing and claiming that she is not a bad friend.

Around the time that Taylor's dad passed, Scheana was quite busy with her move from West Hollywood, California to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she began appearing in the on-stage production of "Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man." As she explained to fans, she wished she could have attended the funeral but because she had just moved and was preparing to start appearing in the show, she opted out.

While Jax Taylor and Scheana Marie were extremely close friends throughout the first five seasons of "Vanderpump Rules," their relationship became strained after Taylor and Cartwright briefly split due to the fact that Scheana made it her duty to set Cartwright up with another man.

While Cartwright appeared to be interested in fellow SUR employee Adam Spott for some time, she and Taylor ultimately got back together at the end of last year.
