On "The Young and the Restless," Kyle Abbott returned to Genoa City seeking vengeance against his father. He teamed up with Victor in order to make Jack pay for not being the supporting dad he believed he needed. He began to connect with his grandmother Dina and was fascinated by the stories she told from her past. When Ms. Mergeron admitted to having multiple affairs and cheating on his grandfather, Kyle laughed and said: "Go, grandma." Now, however, his rash statement is coming back to bite him. On Thursday, Ravi admitted to Ashley that her nephew asked him to restore the burned tape.
Now he may lose the family that he desperately wants to respect him.
Kyle and Victor have an agenda
Kyle is harboring a lot of resentment toward his dad because of the life he lived while growing up. His mother Diane was murdered when he was a child and he never got to really know either side of his family. Victor took advantage and now has the young man working with him on his agenda against all things Jack. On Tuesday Kyle made the unwise decision to give the Newman patriarch the video footage of his grandmother saying that John Abbott is not the biological father of her only son.
Now Kyle's life is about to take a turn for the worse, as he is not a blood member of the family he so desperately wants to respect him.
Spoilers from Celeb Dirty Laundry indicate that Ashley and Abby are going to figure out their nephew's role in Jack being humiliated during Dina's movie. Now, thanks to Ravi, Ashley knows the truth -- that Kyle used the family matriarch's illness to escalate the ongoing Newman/Abbott war.
Dina's multiple affairs are causing pain for the Abbotts
Perhaps it is the Alzheimer's disease but Dina Mergeron seems boastful rather than ashamed that she cheated on John by having multiple affairs. Her adult children seemed shocked at her behavior but her grandson basically applauded. Now, however, his approval may cost him everything.
Jack, Ashley, Traci, and Abby will be hurt that Kyle is in so much pain that he would team up with Victor -- especially since they were shamed publicly in front of Neil's family and also Victor.
On Thursday Ashley shared with her daughter that Kyle is the one who caused his father so much pain. When they find out he is working with Victor, the Abbott family will be hurt all the more. Stay tuned weekday afternoons at 12:30 PM EST on CBS for more episodes of "The Young and the Restless."
