Sammi Giancola was the one member of the "Jersey Shore" cast who opted out of the "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation," the series' highly anticipated reboot on MTV. Upon learning that Giancola would not be a part of the show, many fans around the world were highly disappointed. However, as she explained on Instagram, she didn't want to expose herself to potentially toxic situations. Instead, she wanted to continue with her life, and her new relationship, without the prying eye of cameras -- and fans.

While many suspected that Giancola would ultimately regret not participating in the "Jersey Shore" reboot and rejoining her co-stars and friends, many of whom she's remained close to in the years since the initial series came to an end, a new report claims she isn't regretting her decision to forgo a reunion with her co-stars at all.

"[Sammi Giancola] knew if she went back on it would be toxic. Just look at how everything is unfolding with [Ronnie Magro]," an insider explained to Us Weekly on May 10."She would have been thrown into this cheating drama for no reason just for being attached to the show.”

Ronnie Magro may have cheated on his now-ex girlfriend during filming

During a recent episode of the show, Ronnie Magro was seen bringing a woman home from a nightclub after being extremely flirty with her. Then, as his then-girlfriend, Jen Harley, was nearing the end of her pregnancy, Magro retreated to his bedroom with the woman and closed the door.

After the episode of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" aired, Magro and Harley engaged in a heated dispute on Instagram, during which they both accused the other of cheating, and officially ended their relationship.

As fans well know, Harley had given birth to the couple's daughter, Ariana Sky, just weeks before their breakup.

Sammi Giancola and Ronnie Magro have a long history

As fans of the MTV reality show well know, Sammi Giancola and Ronnie Magro dated on and off for nearly the entirety of the six seasons of "Jersey Shore" and continued their on-again, off-again relationship for years after the show wrapped.

Then, last year, after calling it quits with Magro for good, Giancola moved on with new boyfriend Christian Biscardi.

“[Christian is] the one,” the Us Weekly source said. “They have a great life together and have their own business. [Sammi] doesn’t regret not going back on for a second.”

"Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" airs every Thursday night at 8 PM on MTV.
